National Forest And Swamplands in Florida
Traveling on down from the Green Swamp with many open lands in between plus other State Parks across
Central Fl. down to Devils Garden, Big Cypress Indian Reservation and the Big Cypress Preserve that joins
the huge Everglades National Park. Which is joined by The Ten Thousand Islands on the West side and the
Keys on the East side and the Gulf of Mexico and the Altlantic Ocean
This is a picture of one of the
many waterways you find in
Florida. This picture was taken
in the Big Cypress Preserve.

Big Cypress Preserve is made
up of 720,566 acres of land
and buffers the northern
reaches of Everglades
National Park

The Everglades is made up of 1,506,539 acres. There are 2,500 square acres of pure Wilderness the
Faxahatchee Strand Preserve State Park, Panther Sanctuary, Corkscrew Sanctuary and Big Cypress
National Preserve and the Everglades National Park are either in very close proximately or joined. Florida is
very populated but there are still lands that are protected, many thousands of acres across the whole state.
On the next page I will mention more state parks showing the many thousands of acres that are protected
scattered across the state with just a few miles between some. An animal,  if that is what the creature is, could
stay hidden and move about the whole state without being seen.
