ape while cutting wood./ He said that he had trouble with his chain saw and stopped to work on
it when he saw movement and looking up he saw a Skunk Ape./ Worried that it might attack him

Ape./ It tried to break down the door to his guard house after he was able to get into it./ Reported by the Apopka Fire

COLLIER COUNTY- Alligator Alley(Road between Naples and Ft.Lauderdale some call Beeline
Hwy.) / A Deputy hit what he claimed was a Skunk Ape as he patroled the road./ He said the
creature towered over his patrol car./ The car was damaged./ He lost his job because he wouldn't
change his story. / Later he was hired in Lee County in Ft.Myers./ He never changed his story./

ALABAMA-Flomaton and Jay,Al.- / Between these two towns on the Jay pipeline five truck loads of
workers saw a Skunk Ape and went to get their guns when they returned the creature was gone.
(I'm not sure if it was five truck loads of workers or a truck load of five workers, which makes
better sense as they went back for guns. I don't think five trucks would do that.) This was

campfire saw a dark figure, to dark to make out./ There was a bad smell but they said that could
have been the swamp. ( Either these campers were convinced what they saw was more then
something that they knew and didn't want to sound crazy or they saw something that was normal
but couldn't make out and thought they should report it just in case.

was in the lead on the trail leading down to the river./ He saw a Skunk Ape kneeling down by the river bed./

there to tare it down./ The witness reported that there was a bad smell coming from the
basement?(There aren't any basements in that area as water is only a few inches/feet under the
ground ) The land also is hard shell and coral./ A lot of houses are built on stilts because of rising
water so maybe the under neath was enclosed and that was what he meant??) The witness said
they were waiting on the roof for equipment that was being brought in by trucks, that's when he

It was abt.8 or 9 feet tall./ It was 70 to 80 feet away./ They left the area as fast as they could
which wasn't fast enough as they had to row the boat.

Skunk Ape in their camp at night./ The young witness was in his early 20's, the other was an
older man who didn't get out of the car./ The young witness told his story to the store employees
and said that the first thing they'd notice was their dog was acting funny and had been hurt. ( The
report mentioned that the dog was with them and looked fine.)That is when he saw this hairy
huge creature come into their camp./ The man said that he fired his gun at it./ They were so
scared that they left everything and didn't stop until they came to the store where they told the
women their story./ The store is about 40 to 50 miles away./ One patron of the store heard the

down the back door to her house./ She escaped out the front and ran to the road where she flagged down
a motorist./ When the law came to check out her story they found back door broken; An older couple who
lived near by had told her stories of the creature which she hadn't believed. When she saw them later
they said "I told you so"./ She moved.
