| National Geographic Channel on -(The American Paranormal"Bigfoot") had a special on the Bigfoot tape that Roger Patterson and Gimlin made back in 1967. Mrs. Paterson let them use the original film that she keeps in a vault ,where the expert set it up in her home. Greg Long wrote a book on the making of the Bigfoot The Inside Story. (I just finished it) After several years and extensive interviews with the different characters of the area who were involved with,or knew Patterson, Mr.Long came to the conclusion that the Film was a hoax and he claims fooled scores of scientist and so many people around the world. The Geographic Documentary came to the conclusion after expert studies that the film is indeed real. This Film has been around for 43 years. It's still the center of debates between the believers and the skeptics. |

It was the biggest ape to ever live,the same size as its very close cousin;the temperate gigantopithecus. They were double the size of the biggest ape. And a few heads smaller then "King King'. All the debunkers that I've come across never give credible evidence as to why it is fake; instead, many usually resort to name calling, ridicule, and other attemps to bully those who disagree with them. OTOH, there are many qualified experts in different fields who give cogent, sound reasons for the subject in the film being the real McCoy, not a man in a monkey suit. We've all gotten a good look at the subject, thanks largely to the efforts of MK Davis [and others as well]. The subject in the Patterson-Gimlin film is a Sasquatch. |

| I thought I'd show you an interesting map that suggest that there was two Pattys that day on the Roger Paterson film. This is the first time I've ever heard this mentioned and though I've watched the film on TV and the Internet I can't see it. Maybe you can. The map shows first sequence walk of Patty and camera person and then it shows second sequence walk of Patty and camera person???? | subject = Current TV Show comments = TV SHOW: In Search Of Bigfoot - I hate to say it but WHAT A JOKE! In every episode in EVERY SINGLE PLACE THEY GO they have an encounter - but never follow up! Instead they leave for the next spot... ahhh too bad. I mean come on, if you were sure you saw a "squatch" as they call them - you'd be back the next day looking for evidence such as foot prints, hair etc... but NEVER have they done this. The show is a full on farce in my opinion. Plus the lead guy - I don't care how long he's been doing this he's making factual statements when he has no facts! I cracked up laughing at the latest episode where said Florida Skunk Apes live in gator holes that's why they smell the way they do... Sorry pal, you cannot say where they live until you can factually prove it and you OBVIOUSLY do not care about proving it because you skip doing any follow up several times per show... "Yep it was a squatch" but of course we're not going to g! o look for any proof, just gotta take my word for it stupid TV viewers!
