NEW-ESCAMBIA COUNTY-Century,Fl.-Nov.21 -25,2009/ Going north from Cantonment about 15 miles./ Witness out
squirrel hunting on Sat morning around 6 Am. Walking in the woods near the Escambia River he heard low guttural
vocalization that sounded almost like native American dialect. He heard sounds for about 10 to 15 seconds then
again a few minutes later. Returning to the area on Wed with his 11 year old daughter they hiked into the woods for
about a mile to a promising area where there were trees with squirrel nest. They found a log and sat to wait. They
walked a game trail on the way in and had smelled that wet deer smell that you often encounter around white tails.
His daughter almost immediately to their arrival asked him if he heard what she did. He asked her what it sounded like
and she said it sounded like someone walking in the woods. Also hearing the sound he asked her what she thought it
was,a deer or wild hog or some other animal. She said, no that it sounded like a man walking. The witness said he
thought that it sounded bipedal too. Leaving the area he decided to show her various signs of wildlife in the area.
The game trail goes through a small meadow. The meadow contained deer, wild hog, turkey, armadillo, raccoon as
well as other wild life tracks. One track caught their attention . It was a barefoot track that appeared to be made by a
large man, toes included. He said that he wears a 13 size boot which measures 16 inches in length and this print was
about an inch longer then his boot print. The print was made in a soft mound around an ant bed. His daughter
thought it was a Bigfoot (Skunk Ape) print. The print was 5 inches wide at the heel and 7 to 8 inches broad at the
toes. There are several reports around the area of the "Swamp Boogers".One that is on this web site about a
fisherman who was in his boat when he saw a Skunk Ape wading through the swamp that had risen from the recent
rains. Another was mentioned of a hunter who was knocked out of his deer stand by a Skunk Ape"Swamp Booger.

1979-MISSISSIPPI-Hinds County-Jackson Mississippi-October/ Witness and friends were sitting off of County Line
Road west between Watson Dr. and Hanging Moss Road. Listening to the radio and drinking a few beers. His friend
Tim whose car they were in asked "Did you hear that"? They turned the radio off and rolled the windows down a little.
Didn't hear anything so they turned the radio back up that's when a few minutes later they did hear something,it was
a loud growl. Something the witness said he'd never heard before. Looking across the pond ,cat tails about 7 feet
tall,Tim turned on the head lights and they saw eyes that shone green in the car lights. They all agreed that it had to
be a Bigfoot. It had to be at least 8 feet tall. It had a cone head just like a silver back gorilla and was black as far as
the witness could tell. Tim turned off the headlights and worked at starting the engine which was taking its time
turning over. That's when the animal let out a spine tingling roar kind of like a lion but louder and longer. When the
car started turning the lights back on the creature was still there. They wasted no time in getting out of there. The
witness said that they were very scared and they didn't tell many people but the witness said it still remains clear in
his memory until this day.
Sketch artist, Sybilla Irwin, worked with
the witness to create the sketch to the
right.
The witness has listened to various
recordings but hasn't found the exact
sound the creature made.
The eyes were sunk in with a large
brow ridge and the nose was between
an ape and a human. It's upper body
was massive. It was about 9 Pm.at
night, cloudy and still kind of warm.
The area is developed now but still has
a good tree line that leads to the
Natchez Trace Parkway.

2000-ALACHUA COUNTY-Gainsville,Fl./ Summer/ Hwy 441/Witness was traveling with her grandson down Hwy 441
through Paynes Prairie Reserve State Park. The four lane Hwy is divided by a grassy median. It was around 6 Am.
in the morning when she noticed a hair covered bipedal figure crossing on to the median from the opposite lanes. It
stopped on the median when she was about 2 car lengths away. This is when she started slowing down. It kept its
head turned from her at first, then it started across the road in front of her. It glanced her way before it  stepped
down into what she said was a ravine or ditch. She looked but couldn't see anymore though the vegetation wasn't
that thick or tall, she thought it must have ducked down trying to hide. She  was very frightened . Describing  what
she saw, said It was  covered in brown, scraggly, course hair. The hair on its head and forehead looked longer than
the hair on its body. She wasn't sure but it might have been wet. When it ran it moved quickly and held its arms out
like a muscle man. It ran on two legs but was hunched over." It looked like how a monkey would run if it were on two
legs",she said. It was 6 foot tall or taller and she felt it was young. Very muscular and stout. The witness couldn't
remember the facial features as it only looked at her for a split second. The feet reminded her of "Fred
Flintstones".The strangest thing was it seemed to be wearing a burlap, crude covering. It sort of draped over the
shoulders and went to about the waist in the back. It looked unraveled ,dingy and worn-out.She thought she saw a
caveman at first but said she knew it wasn't a caveman or a bear or a human.Though it happened 10 years ago its
still imprinted on her memory. She said she didn't drive down Hwy 441 for along time afterwards.
