Georgia-Florida border- Man Mountain.

PUTNAM COUNTY-Bardin Fl. / Bardin Booger was talked about and sung about into the 1980's He
roamed around the St.Johns River area and was sighted all over Putnam County. Also the "Pig Man
was reported,named because of his snout.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY-Branford / A man said he saw a Skunk Ape as it jumped on the running
board of his truck as he traveled down a dirt road.
POLK COUNTY- Lakeland / A small child saw a huge hairy creature standing under a tree.
PINELLAS COUNTY- Clearwater / Huge footprints were found. These prints were found for 2 decades from
Indian Rock to the Suwanee River. "The Clearwater Monster" as it was called was finally caught. It was a
man wearing wooden feet.
PASCO COUNTY-New Port Richey / A white haired creature approached a man stopped on the
road to check out a dead animal. The witness called the creature a "Yeti".
PASCO COUNTY-New Port Richey,Fl. / Huge beast terrified a woman as she was hanging up
clothes on outside clothesline. It chased her until she managed to get in her house. / The creature
left shortly after that.
COLLIER COUNTY- Big Cypress Swamp,Fl. / Two hunters sleeping in their hammocks awoke to a
Skunk Ape standing watching them. It walked back into the swamp.
HERNANDO COUNTY- Brooksville,Fl. / A semi truck driver was sleeping in his sleeper parked
right outside of the city limits on highway 41. / Something with long arms pulled him out of his
cab. / Several dogs hearing the commotion ran up and attacked the beast running it off. (This
same report has been listed many times through different years. I will mention it only by Trucker
report from 1958)
COLLIER COUNTY- Everglades National Park,Fl. / Mr. S. D. said a story appeared in the Miami
Herald that a Skunk Ape was captured and held in a block building. / It broke through the wall and
escaped. / A biolgist said that there were casts made of footprints of the creature. / He thought
they were locked up in Federal vault somewhere.
PUTNAM COUNTY-Palatka,Fl.-1947-48/ Witness said she remembered a sighting when she was about 12/13 years
old. Riding her horse down a forest trail she saw a figure,thought was man,wearing a fur coat up against a pine tree
moving up and down. Possibly scratching back.Fur coat was odd because it was summer and hot.Her horse spotted the
figure and refused to go any closer. Telling mom, she said she had heard screams in the night that sounded like a
woman.They lived in a deep pine forest.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY-Siting on bank watching drive in movie from across the river,Witness and friend heard
something behind them,turning saw large creature. Looked like what is discribed as Bigfoot(Skunk Ape) back them to
them it looked like "Common Boogyman" they split in a hurry.
GEORGIA-Thomas County-Ramona Hibner claimed to have in her possessions a report of Sasquatch Shooting.A
woman said her husband heard dogs barking going outside saw giant man like creature covered in dark hair cornered
on porch by dogs.Husband shot creature ran off. Step father night before said a big black man looked in his window
which is 7 foot off ground.Shot at intruder with pistol,it ran off.20 inch footprints found.
Year1951-Melborne,Florida-Place June Park,Patric A.F.B./ Witness sent in his 2 sightings./ When he was a young child
his Mother was giving his brother and him a bath when they heard something hit the roof of the trailer they lived in.
Witness said he looked up at the small widow which was high up in the bathroom when he saw two eyes glowing in the
glass. His mother started screaming and so did he as the creature kept looking at them. His Father who was gone on
T.D.Y in Panama came home, he believed it was the next day, he told him what they had seen. His mother when
confronted by father said that he was just being "silly" and that there was nothing there. His father gave him a good
spanking and stood him in the corner for telling a lie. This witness is now in his 60's and remembers the incident well.
He said the terrain was jungle with a cleared spot about 6 football fields wide and 2 deep. There were 2 or 3 trailers at
the northeast side and 2 trailers at the middle of the north side. The trailer he lived in and the pilot next door was about
30 or 40 ft.long Airstremes.About a week later He and his brother had another sighting playing off to the west side of
the property His brother was on the far side of the road that ran next to the trailer. The witness was on the side closest
to their trailer. The sky filled with rain clouds and it started raining. He said his brothers side got rained on but he was
dry. He said they thought this was funny and stood there laughing. He then saw something move at the jungles
edge,trying to get his brothers attention while keeping and eye on the woods,trying to get his younger brother to come
to him. His brother asked him what was wrong and he said "Look behind you" He turned around and there about 250
yards stood a black man just standing there looking. He said after the last time he wasn't going to tell his parents but
his brother did and he was again punished for lying thinking that he had put his brother up to it. Witness said he never
forgot the incident and looking back on it realized that the black man wasn't wearing clothes. The bathroom window
was at least 7 ft or so off the ground. He believes that what he saw back then was Bigfoot"Skunk Ape".
