GEORGIA-FLORIDA border- St. Mary's River just north of Okefenokee Swamp. / A boy and his
father were night fishing. / It was very dark, witness couldn't see but heard a heavy splash as
something behind them moved across the water. / It came out on the other side and entered the
woods. It made a lot of noise and he was sure it was moving on two legs. Later the boy went
fishing on shore. Leaving his tackle box on upper bank he went to retrieve it and found it turned
over with huge footprints next to it that were human and shoe less. / He hadn't seen any other
humans around, getting scared he left area.
BROWARD COUNTY-Coral Springs,Fl. / Two brothers claimed they saw a black human like
creature standing under a tree. / It broke off a limb about 18 inches in diameter then ran off into
the woods.
COLLIER COUNTY-Cypress Swamp,Fl. / Feb. at abt. 3 AM. Mr. Buz Osburn and a friend saw a glowing eyed, 8 foot
tall, smelly creature walking on two legs.(This was reported again as happening in 1971)
GEORGIA-FLORIDA border- Okefenokee Swamp / A family fishing had their stringer of fish picked
up by a creature that looked like a Skunk Ape. The woman seeing it first screamed and her
husband then ran after it yelling. / The creature then turned and screamed back at them. /
Husband decided to let the creature keep the stringer and removed his family from the area.
CHARLOTTE COUNTY-Gulf of Mexico-Fisherman said he saw Skunk Ape swimming
under water.
CHARLOTTE COUNTY-Gulf of Mexico near Placida,Fl. / Two fishermen in a boat spotted hairy man like creature
swimming in water 28 miles off shore
HERNANDO County- Brooksville,Fl. / Man claims that he seen the Skunk Ape for 11 years. Reported also in 1969.
PINELLAS COUNTY-Pinellas Park,Fl. / Two men hunting for snakes found large barefeet tracks. Following them they
came upon a creature that was covered in hair and of great size. / They made a complete U turn and headed back the
way they came in a hurry.
HERNANDO COUNTY-Brooksville,Fl. // Again truck driver being pulled from cab. This report was made 1958 and other
years.
POLK COUNTY-Peace River,Fl. / Two boys canoeing saw a Skunk Ape come out of the water and enter the woods.
GEORGIA-The Belt Road Booger was spotted in the 1970's. Seen in Coweta County. Reports flooded the Police
Department also on local news for a week.
GEORGIA-Newman./ This creature was called the " HAPPY VALLEY HORROR" This creature was spotted on Happy
Valley Road and there were several reports made. The story goes there were two creatures seen walking up right
along the road at night in the Newman area./They believed the creatures resided around Lake Redwire and ate
Armadillos.
SEPT. 1970- ALABAMA-Dekalb County /Witness and two neighbors coon hunting./ Dogs started barking and ran down
the trail./Male sounded like he had something treed,female returned acting nervous./They walked towards where they
thought dog had treed coon. They suddenly stopped barking and when checking out area found no dog,no blood or
signs of a struggle./ They searched for the dog for three weeks never saw it again./The witness said he had hunted
the Fort Payne area for years and this had never happened before./ That night he said they did hear a strange moan
or howl that sounded sort of like a bull bellering but a different pitch./ Later years he saw a documentary on Bigfoot in
Washington and the recording of the creature sounded like what he'd heard./There have been many stories of wild
human- like creatures in Desota State Park,on Look out Mountain and in Little River Canyon when witness was
growing up
