SIGHTINGS 1990
JACKSON COUNTY- Greenwood,Fl./ Three men in a boat without oars spots a Skunk Ape./ This was reported in 1980,
MARION COUNTY-Ocala National Forest,Fl./ Wild life photgrapher saw a creature when he was returning to his camp
right before noon./ He thought at first it was a bear in the high grass but when it stood up he saw a creature that after
spotting him ran off on two legs./ Later that night he heard strange screeching noises./ He said he searched but
never saw the creature again.
1990-June-SUMTER COUNTY- West of Terrytown-Walking with two friends on a Sunday afternoon came upon an
abandoned camp. Took tent and next day returned to gather other things ,with his dog,such as pots and pans etc..
Camp things. There was couple of stools also. Saw something that wasn't there the day before./ Standing very still in the
tree line looking at witness. It was huge,with reddish brown hair and long arms./ The face was kind of blurry about 3-400
feet away. Witness turned and ran as fast as he could with dog barking all the way, about 2 PM.
1990-SUMTER COUNTY-Tarrytown,Fl.- Possible sighting in the woods separating town from farms west of Tarrytown.
1990-ALABAMA-WalkerCounty-Kansas,Al/ ASpring-/Hwy118/ Witness was about 10 years old when she spotted the
creature behind dog pen.It was very large and solid white./ It had long hair covering its whole body.About 7 to 9 feet tall
judging by the by the trees and fence./ Witness said she turned and ran down the hill to where her brother was installing
a radio in his car. When he went to check it was gone. Said his sister was white as a ghost. She said she was very
scared. Many stories around the area through the years about creature being seen around strip pits and old coal
mines. It was a sunny,clear day in wooded area.
