COLLIER COUNTY- Fishermen fishing in a grassy part of a canal waiting for better light when one of the witnesses
saw Skunk Ape emerge from the water and head for the bank./ A car traveling the road beside the canal scared the
creature back into the water and it went under ,fully submerged./ They looked and looked but never saw it again
even though they had a clear view both ways in the canal.
HILLSBORPOUGH COUNTY- Green Swamp,Fl./ (1990 or 1991)There was a story going around about a "Wild Man" in
the Green Swamp./ He was seen around farms in the area and no one could catch him./ This lasted over 8 months./
Sheriff D. Page decided enough and he went after him and caught him,and it really was a man not a monster./ The
man was a 39 year old Taiwanese Mariner who had walked out of the Psychiatric Ward of the Tampa General
Hospital. / He lived in the Swamp 8 months ,living on small animals ,bugs and what ever he could steal to eat./ They
cleaned him up and fed him and told him that they were going to send him home./ This story ended badly as the man
hung himself in his cell with his belt.
1991-BRONSON COUNTY-Day sighting,clear sunny. Creature ran across road seemed to be carrying a young one.
LEVY COUNTY-Brunson,Florida-June 1991/ Three witnesses traveling on Hwy 27 east. At 4 Pm. on a clear sunny day
saw a Skunk Ape who stood about 8 feet tall and completely covered in hair./ It ran across the road about 100 yards
ahead of them in about 20 seconds. It seemed to be carrying a baby Skunk Ape./ The area was heavy jungle type
vegetation on both sides of the road.
Witness reported several different incidents one in the summer of 1991 and then again in 2008:
LOUSIANA-1991-Washington Parish-Nearest town VARNADA;/ 3200 acre farm that family has owned since 1850./
Found huge tracks that looked human heading into pinewood swampy area.
Nov.2008 about 11:30 Pm.Witness said he was hunting hogs when he heard a sound he believed was a cougar scream
but after hearing primate sounds he believes that this could also be what he heard.
HONEY ISLAND SWAMP MONSTER has been seen through the years about 40 miles south of the farm.
SOUTH CAROLINA-Laurens County- Near Cross Anchor/ Nearest road HWY 72./ Witness and his girlfriend,now his wife,
were riding the road looking for deer. Don't remember the exact road but it was between Hwy 49 and HWY 72 not far
from Ridge Road back towards Clinton./ It was around 1 or 2 Am when they saw something cross the road just out of
reach of the headlights./ It was walking on two legs. Punching the gas the witness tried to get down there to see what it
was. When getting close to the area where it crossed witness stopped and rolled down the window. and shone his mag
light around area and into the woods. / About 20 yards in he noticed a lump on a tree that seemed to move. Focused
the lite on the tree and the creature stepped out and just looked at them for a second or two then turned and walked
into the woods. Thw witness said he didn't know what to do. His wife was yelling at him to get out of there so he hit the
gas and drove off. Being dark it was hard to see how big it was but guessing he said about 7 feet tall. It looked to be
covered in brownish hair. Not sure about the face. The eyes glowed red in the mag lite. He said he had hunted the area
for years and heard a lot of unusual things but was the only time he saw anything.

ME AND ONE OF MY SIS WAS GOING TO GET THE OTHER ONE, WE WERE TRAVELING ST RD 121 DOWN FROM
GOLF CLUB WHEN WE CAME OVER THE HILL THERE WERE FOUR, RANGING FROM 9 FOOT TO7 FOOT AND THE
SMALLEST WAS AROUND 5 FOOT WALKING ACROSS THE ROAD. I BELIEVE THEY WERE MOVING BECAUSE OF
THE STORM THEY WHERE HEADED EAST AT WITCH TIME WAS A WOODED AREA. THERE WAS ALSO ANOTHER
TIME WHEN THEY WERE SEEN AND IT WAS IN THE CITY OF WILLISTON I WAS WORKING FOR THE CITY AND
WENT FOR A CALL AND IT WAS IN THE DUMPSTER AT THE TOP OF THE HILL, THIS ONE WAS A YOUNG ONE, HE
WAS ABOUT 5 FOOT TALL, WHEN THE TRUCK LIGHTS HIT HIM IT RAN

TIME AND CONDITIONS: THE FIrst TIME WAS AT DARK 2ND ONE WAS ABOUT DARK
ENVIRONMENT: WOODED AREA AT THE THE TIME
In the Summer of 1991, LP was working for the city as an animal control officer. Upon getting complaints of a dumpster
being tampered with, (finding garbage strewn on the ground) LP went out at 3am one night to see if she could catch the
‘culprits’ in action. Thinking that she would find either humans or raccoons pilfering through the dumpster, she rode up
to it with her headlights turned off and her window down. According to LP, as she got within five feet of the dumpster she
saw the silhouette of a human-shaped figure. As soon as she turned the headlights on she saw what she described as
a ‘Bigfoot’ standing in front of the dumpster.
“The thing was about six foot tall and was covered in dark brownish-black hair. Its arms hung real low, down past its
knees. As soon as my headlights hit it, it looked at me like it was scared. I could see the eyes; they were totally black. It
had hair on its face, but not around its eyes or mouth. Right away it started moving off. It didn’t run, but sort of walked
real fast in a weird jumping-skipping strut. Not like a person would run. I think I saw it for about thirty seconds before I
got my truck in reverse and got out of there. While I was backing up, I did notice this really bad odor. It was like a wet
dog smell mixed with rotten eggs. "Its one of those smells you just can’t ever forget.”
When asked to describe its face, "It looked exactly like the same way the ‘Mexican Werewolf’ boy’s face looks. It didn’t
have hair around the eyes and mouth.(The Mexican Wolf Boy has a condition called Congenital Generalized
Hypertrichosis or The Werewolf Syndrome. Hypertrichosis means "extra hair" and in the case of the Mexican Wolf Boy,
is caused by a inherited defective chromosome which results in an abnormal amount of hair on the body and face.)
A month or so later, in August of the same year, LP and her sister were driving south down State Rd 121 during the
early evening. LP noted that there was a severe storm brewing in the west but there was enough light out to see easily
without using any headlights. Just after passing a golf course and driving through a heavily wooded section they both
saw what LP described as "four bigfoots+(Skunk Apes)crossing the road" about 30 yards in front of them.
According to LP, they were heading east and she and her sister saw them walking single file from a very dense part of
the woods towards the other side of the road, which was also very dense.
“The first one was the biggest, I'm sure it was a male. It was about eight-foot tall and completely covered with dark brown
hair. I think the next one was a female because it was a little smaller, about seven-foot tall. Then there was a younger
one, about six-foot tall and then an even smaller one, about four to five-foot tall. They were all covered with the same
colored hair, dark brown. This might sound strange, but they were all holding hands. And they didn’t seem to be in that
much of a hurry. They all had really long legs and they all had really long strides, so I know they could have moved
faster if they wanted to. I think they were going slower so the smaller one at the back could keep up.”
After the sighting, LP and her sister did not want to stop. LP stated that during the encounter she did not experience
any unusual noises or odors.
She believes that the 'bigfoots' she saw were trying to run away from the impending storm.
"The way they held hands, it was like the male was leading them to safety. I really don't know. All I know for sure was
that it wasn't bears, and it wasn't people. It was bigfoots. I saw that one at the dumpster, and I know what they look like.
These were bigfoots."
When asked if the six-foot tall bigfoot she saw crossing the road could have been the same six-foot tall bigfoot she saw
at the dumpster, LP said that she wasn't sure. But she was adamant that the four bigfoots she saw crossing the road
must have been a family unit. "Why else would they have been holding hands and traveling together like that? That big
male leading them away from that storm?"
The area in question of both sightings happened in and around Williston, Florida. Still fairly rural, but more populated
since 1991, most of this area is comprised of farmlands and woodlands that are interspersed by small urban
communities.
She laughed and said that her sister would probably kill her if she knew that she had submitted this report. Her sister
has bad memories of this event and doesn't like to talk about it.

comments = When I was 18 I was driving home in the car late at night around 10 p.m. with my mom in St. George Island,
Florida. There is no way to get onto the island but by boat or car driving over a bridge. We lived in the Plantation which
is heavily forested but it is also a guard gated community. We were about 2 miles from our house when all of a sudden
this giant 8 or 9 foot creature walked across the road in front of us. My mom slowed down and stopped. We said,
"what is that".. It looked at us and had red eyes which appeared to be glowing from the car headlights. To
me the creature looked like a cross between a kangaroo, an ape, and a bear. The legs on it were huge and had the
round shape like a kangaroo. It was walking on two legs not four and had huge muscular arms. The face looked almost
human. It starred at us for about 5 seconds then continue walking across the road.. It didn't run. It walked into the
bushes. This happened in 1991. I don't remem!ber the month or day as it was so long ago but it was sometime during
the school year. My mom and I said we would not tell anyone at the time as we thought they would think we were crazy.
We never saw it again but in the paper that week we read that they found "large bear tracks" in the Planation
which is very odd for a bear to be in the planation on this island. We never went back or looked for it as we were scared
of it. In fact that night we were so scared we parked the car in the garage and would not get out until the door shut
closed and the whole family slept in the same bedroom that night. The arms were very long. It was very hair with long
dark brown or black hair. The face on it was flat in shape not sticking out like a bear. We never heard about the skunk
ape until many years later. When I saw pictures of what the skunk ape looks like.. it is what I saw.
