BROWARD COUNTY-Davie,Fl. / Mr. Henry Ring saw a huge BIgfoot(Skunk Ape) treed by dogs. / The
creature jumped into a near by canal.
BROWARD COUNTY-Davie,Fl. / Mr.C.Robertson was hunting an abandoned quava grove off State
Road 84 when he saw a creature that was very large and covered in black hair. / It was about 6
feet tall and he did report it to the police.
HERNANDO COUNTY-(The sightings that lasted through the 1980's) Man reported footprints and
fences pushed down that were loaded with moss. / Horses had hand holds tied in their manes and
they would stand and look at the woods for hours.) A roof was removed from a doghouse. / Witness
saw creature with silver hair just sitting one night on the wood pile looking at him.(This was
reported again in 1970)
HERNANDO COUNTY-Brooksville,Fl. / Mr. L. C. Traveling down Rd had a creature run out and hit
his car. / He claimed to have sped up to 80 miles an hour and then the creature took off back into
the woods. / He reported it to the police and to the body shop where he took his car to have the
dent knocked out of his door.
CITRUS COUNTY-Crystal River,Fl. / The Rock Crusher Mine is closed now and an RV Park has
replaced it but back in 1969 the teens would go there to hang out. Many claimed to have seen
monkey like men scurrying all over the cliffs. / Even one witness claimed to see a creature get
shot by moon light. / She didn't know if it died or not somehow it made her feel bad and she along
with others left the area.
ST.LUCIE COUNTY-Ft.Pierce,Fl./Mr.Gable saw a Skunk Ape rooting at edge of swamp./ Footprints 18 inches by 6
inches with a 4 foot stride.
