1973-ORANGE COUNTY-Near Union Park,Florida Witness Jimmy Horton said about 10:30 Pm he was walking
his girlfriend, at that time, Cindy home. He had went and got her and brought her to his house for dinner and to watch
a movie. This was a Friday night in December. The area was about 5 miles from  highway 50. It was thinly populated.
Cindy lived about a mile away on Mercury Road and he asked her to let him walk her home. She said okay and they
started out. They had to walk down four different roads to get to her house about a 30-40 minute walk. Going around a
curve of the last road, looking ahead they saw something big come out of  a ditch that lined both sides of the road,
about 3 feet deep for drainage. It came out on its hind legs, Cindy said "Is that a bear". Jimmy said he told her to be
quite, it walked to the center of the road and stopped as if it was looking for something on the ground. It was very tall
between 7-8 feet. The moon was bright and lit up the road so the witness could see the road well and could tell that
the dark color wasn't pants, shirt,or any other clothing. About 10 seconds later, it went into the other ditch and was
gone, all this time it was on two legs. A bear couldn't do this.
