POLK COUNTY-Close to saddle Creek./ Witness sitting outside watching the sunset heard knocking from back of
property./ Looking saw a monkey like being climb pine tree jump to another then jump down to the ground which
was about a 20 foot jump.
PASCO COUNTY-Feb.28 / Night in a very wooded area. / Two teens liked to go to a favorite parking spot that was on a
very narrow road./ They would back off into the trees and settle down to smoke a little weed and sit and talk. / Every
night they would hear dogs barking off into the distance then there would be a throaty scream. / This night they
thought they would hang around and see if they could discover what was making the screams. / Suddenly they heard
heavy breathing right at the open window. / Scared they left./ A couple weeks later there was an article that came out in
the St. Petersburg Times, Pasco County section, that had a story about a "Yeti" in the same area as they were. / They
never went back.
HERNANDO COUNTY- Weeki Watchi Springs,Fl/ Huge 7 foot tall creature was seen standing on the bank of the Weeki
Watchi River.
HERNANDO COUNTY-Brooksville,Fl. / Two men claim they saw a 7 foot tall, black, hairy bipedal creature standing in
the woods. / The men worked for the Seven Hills Nursery on Hwy. 98. / The creature watched them then returned to the
woods.
PALM BEACH COUNTY-Palm Beach,Fl. / In the area of Palm Beach a Security Guard fired at and hit a Skunk Ape. / He
said it fled./ This was reported in the Palm Beach Post News Feb. 11,1977
HERNANDO COUNTY- Brooksville,Fl. / Three girls saw a Skunk Ape near Hwy.50 on a dirt road. / Tall man like creature.
COLLIER COUNTY- Naples to Miami two Trailway Bus's heading in different directions about 30 minutes a part on
Tamiami Trail Hwy. ,which is Hwy 41, Bus drivers Mr. J.C. Brown and Mr. R. Brooks both saw a creature that stood about
8 feet tall walking on the edge of the Hwy. /The drivers both reported to their Superiors and they intern released the
information to the news media.
HERNANDO COUNTY-Brooksville ,Fl. / Traveling down Hwy 476 near Kelly Farms, Mr. Duane and Mrs. Romona Hibner
saw three hairy ape like creatures in a trash pile. / They appeared to be eating what they could find in the trash.(The
Yeti Research Society)
SARASOTA COUNTY-Weeden Island,Fl. / Boys found three toed tracks that were 21 inches long.
PINELLAS COUNTY-St. Petersburg,Fl. / Mr. Prescott reported that Mrs. G. Kelly and her daughter saw a hairy monster
on a farm.
HERNANDO COUNTY-Brooksville,Fl. / Two women traveling by car saw a creature sitting in the middle of the road that
they called a Skunk Ape. / They turned the car around and went straight to the Sheriffs Office. / When investigated
there were huge foot prints found. / One of the women said she'd been hearing loud whistle like sounds and groans and
that something beat on her trailer in the middle of the night.
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY-Near Miami off of Hwy 27 and Krome Ave about 12:40 AM.- Jan.09. / 35 year old Richard Lee
Smith saw a black man running down the hwy../ The man ran in front of his Cadillac car. / Mr. Smith got out to check on
him and found it wasn't a man, but a huge creature that screamed at him. / He jumped back into his car and sped away.
/ He notified authorities and a massive manhunt was put under way. / Officer Hollemaeyal dispatched to the scene said
he saw a creature and shot at it. / He said it was big and bulky and strong looking. / It ran off into the swamp. / It was
running on two legs. / He also saw a dog on the road and said it looked terrified. / The creature was covered in black
hair and had a silver strip down its back. / This story was printed in the Miami Herald and many other papers as well as
being on the radio. / I read about it some time after it happened in a magazine and there was a story of a Seminole, an
older gentleman who found Mr. Smith and told him that the Lost Tribe person didn't blame him, he knew it was an
accident.
My husband was on the road that night driving into Miami on Hwy 27on a delivery to Winn-Dixie. / He was stopped by a
road block./ There were planes and boats and law every where. I thought that the car was still there as I remember it
being told that it was bent very badly in the front. The policeman directing traffic told my husband what had happened
and what they were looking for. He was held up for a while.
Our neighbors brother worked for the Belle Glade Police Department and knowing that my husband had been on the
road that night brought home a report that wasn't for the public to know about. He told us that we could read it but he
was returning it to the station and that we couldn't keep or make copies of it. / The report was long and even told of a
rancher in the area having problems with this creature but the thing I remember is the blood sample report. They got
the report back and found that it was humanoid, but not human. That always stuck in my mind.
COLLIER COUNTY- Corkscrew Swamp,Fl. / Just off of Hwy 81 Several hunters spotted a Skunk Ape while they were
hunting late at night by their flash lights. / They followed it until they lost it as it entered deeper into the swamp.
1974-LEE COUNTY East of Fort Myers/ ) Oct. / A group of people whose names are listed as unknown reported they
saw a Skunk ape on a backwoods road and that it had followed their car to the highway./ sheriff was notified/

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY- Florida Turnpike./A woman thought she hit a Skunk Ape crossing the road./ It was huge and
hairy,bipedal creature loping across the road./ An investigation found nothing.
MARCH 27,1974- Hernando County,Florida;/ Lucky K. Ranch in a very remote part of Hernando County a small serious
group of people silently carried out a study they believed would come to a conclusive proof of the existance of the
elusive Yeti 'as they called the creature we know as the Skunk Ape today. George Kelly,owner of the Lucky K Ranch
and his family split from the St.Petersburg based Yeti Research Society to form a new study group. He said they had a
more scientific method to study the man-beast that he and his neighbors believed inhabited the woods of Hernando
County. He said that he disagreed with the other group and the way they done things. Kellys researchers-known as the
Yeti Evaluation and Technological Investigators"Think small and quiet" and try to conduct the study continuously while
the Yeti Research Society liked to go out on weekends and send large groups into the field to use loud music and
campfires as lures for the Yeti.
The new group consisted of Kelly,his wife Nancy, son Shawn and daughter Debbie O'Neil and her husband Mason and
their friends RAMONA Clark-and Duane HIBNER.(RAMONA CLARK HIBNER)
Neither group is around today.
1974-1975-St.Francisville Democrat in TUNIACA HILLS,LOUISIANA:published April 7,1977; there was a story of a 16
inch two-toed footprint found in 1974: Probably a gator track:/ Bryant Conway in "Successful Hints on Hunting and
Tracking White Tail Deer" said a Bigfoot roamed there in Tunica Hills Wildlife Management Area and in Concordia
Parish, Fort Adams,F rancisville to Jackson Back to Baker area./ According to the article, a deer hunter shot at one
three times in 1975./ Allegedly,a boy and girl photographed one of these 6-7 feet high hairy monsters near Unham
Springs (Corrected to read Denham Springs) and another report, a crippled Bigfoot seen near Pride by two boys fishing,
that would be East Rouge Parish, Louisiana./Story investigated and filed by Ramona Clark and later summarized then
sent to John Green in 1977.
