ALABAMA-Flomaton and Jay,Al.- / Between these two towns on the Jay pipeline five truck loads of workers saw a Skunk
Ape and went to get their guns when they returned the creature was gone. (I'm not sure if it was five truck loads of
workers or a truck load of five workers, which makes better sense as they went back for guns. I don't think five trucks
would do that.) This was reported in Walton Playground News.)

POLK COUNTY-Brewster,Fl./ Jan,1978/ This witness was picked up by his sister at the Tampa Airport on New Years Eve./ he was home on
leave from the Army./ After spending the night with friends in Lakeland they headed out early for their home in Ona./ Driving south on Hwy.37
they started across a bridge that spanned the Alafia River./ The witness said he was in the passenger seat and was looking out the window
when he spotted a figure squatting at the edge of the water,splashing water over its shoulder./ he having a good view knew he was looking at
what folks describe as a Skunk Ape./ It was large,well over 6 foot tall with dark shaggy hair covering its body./ Yelling at his sister to stop the car
he jumped out and ran to the bridge railing./ The creature looked up at him and he could see that the features were more human then ape like./
The creature stood up,seeming not afraid and climbed the bank and went into the woods./ The witness and his sister saw the Skunk Ape as it
entered the woods and was concerned it would come after them./ They got back into the car and left./ He described the chest and arms as
being massive and the face he said wasn't as hairy as the rest of its body.

1978-Summer- North Carolina-Wilkes County. Happened in Wilbar N.Carolina. off 16 North about 8 to 10 miles. Roten Creek Road.
Nearest town Millers Creek/North Wilkesboro. I was sitting at Popular Grove Church waiting on my girlfiends parents to leave for work.
Started walking up the Roten Creek Road still walking on a dirt road. Had a funny feeling and the hair on my neck and arms stood up.
Passed a local older ladies house and saw car lights coming down the road from a distance, so I ran left into a corn field. Squatting
down waited for the car to pass. Also saw girlfriends parents coming down the road. Smelt something bad and looked directly behind
me and at the edge of the mountain where the cornfield began there stood a Bigfoot(Skunk Ape)It was about 30 or 40 feet away.He
stared at me from dark eyes. He had an oval head and was as wide as a refrigerator. His arms were down beside him. He had big
fingers.Hair that covered his body was about 4 or 5 inches long. He just stood there. I tried to get up from my squatting position but it
was like my legs were frozen in place. He never showed any teeth. It took about 10 seconds to get my body moving.I started
running,ran into a barb wire fence getting to the road,then I went up the road running and hollering.Told my girlfriend but told her never
to tell anyone.This has haunted me for years. It was in August or September. Early morning hours between 5 and 5:30 AM. No rain or
frost,dusky light.

DATE: 8/15/78 /TIME: 9 pm or so/ LOCATION: Hinds County, Mississippi TERRAIN: Wooded
OBSERVED: 3 of my friends and I were at one of our partying spots.,I was 16 at the time,the date is not specific,but is as close
as I can get. We were in my friends car, listening to the radio, when my friend and i thought we heard something, we turned down
the radio, twice, after that the Bigfoot let us know he was there, I'm saying it was a male because when Tim turned on the
headlights there it was, and there can be no mistaking what it was, across a small pond, say an eighth of an acre, was a huge
animal, we could only see from the chest up, but it was very big, and interested in what we were doing in its woods i guess, the
smell of weed or the music, we all said do you see what I'm seeing, of course it was unanimous, at the time it was moving its head
a little, we could see its eyes open and close, they were shining bright green, we turned the lights off and on twice, it was still
there, so I can say IT WAS THERE, and was at least 8 ft tall, with very wide shoulders, dark colored hair, you could see skin on
the face, black, wide nose, and I'll never forget the cone shaped head, anyway, the car chose this moment to take extra long to
start, because we were all yelling lets get the hell out of there, when we were leaving it made a huge roar that is hard to describe,
and before that we all noticed a very strong smell of skunk/musty like smell, as the wind was blowing toward us from the south.
We all talked about it for the next few weeks, and all agreed what we saw, smelled, and heard. A friend of ours had told us
several times before this that he was 'jumped by a Bigfoot about 2 miles from there before, which we used to laugh at till that night,
I have submitted this to bfro and just wanted you to know that there is for sure an animal that lives down there, hopefully still does.
I lived in Jackson for 28 years and my parents still do, right down the rd,3 miles west of the spot, also I was in those woods from
age 7,and did know about sasquatch, but never saw or heard anything, although in those particular woods I used to get the
feeling of being watched, and I have walked, rode bikes, and dirt bikes all of my growing up years, at night and in the day, hope
this may help you all, with all the development there now seems unlikely that they would stay, but lots of hiding places
