NOTE From Emma-1979-(Researcher from California who moved to Florida early 1970's) J.Moore reported
that a county road project came upon an old Indian mound. Supposedly investigated by Garcia for the
state, who after checking it out found nothing to interest the state and "Opened" the site to the public.You
could collect what you wanted and then pay the state for the privilege. This mound was on about 40 acres
next to the Alafia River. Moore and his partner discovered the remains, what was assumed to be a Caloosa
Indian. He was lying on a bed of seashells, then surrounded by conch shells. J.Moore and his partner in
their report found another set of bones, this skeleton was decapitated. There were 36 teeth, we have 32.
The skeleton had six toes and the skull which was found near the skeleton showed a low ridge high
forehead, the thumb was said to be as long as the other fingers. The state archaeologist, claimed by
Moore, to have a legal suit against them for the recovery of the bones, which he claimed was stored at his
friends house.
J.Moore had some stories back in California which were quit odd. I was in touch with Ray Crowe who was
the owner of the Track Record and the International Bigfoot Society web site. Ray said to use anything he
had. In searching through sightings I came across a couple by Jackson Moore who was a researcher who
turned in some reports that caught my interest(These were reports in California) I wasn't sure if this was
the same person but then found he had in deed moved to Florida. Ray Crowe no-longer has the web site
and I'm truly sorry about that. But maybe who ever took over the sightings will list everything once again
on the net.

1979-MARION COUNTY-Fall / Three boys taking pictures of night sky smelled something bad. Getting scared they left
for the house they were staying in. Next day they find footprint and possible nest. One boy weighing 275 didn't leave a

1979-1980-POLK COUNTY- Witness heard loud banging on tree trunk about 30 or 40 yards away. This was in
summer,very hot in the afternnon../ Found tracks in area several weeks later./ 2 other witnesses./ Land fill close by./

GEORGIA-1978/79-Lincoln County/ It was opening day of deer season. Witness said he and others in hunting party set
up their camp and each looked for the spot that they would hunt from the next day./ Witness chose his spot in an area
that was with in sight of Clarks Hill Lake because he'd seen lots of deer sign there./ It was Saturday morning around 5Am
when he set out for his deer stand. Very foggy and dark./ He couldn't see anything as the fog rolled in from the lake. He
settled in about 25 feet off the ground that's when he started hearing screaming sounds that were coming from an area
above him but seemed to be coming his way./ He could hear the brush and and leaves making a noise as it got closer
and the witness was frozen with fear as he couldn't see what was passing right under his tree stand./ He tried to shine
his flashlight on it but the light didn't penertrate the fog./ What ever it was continued on pass still making noise./ It was
around 10:30 Am. when the fog started to lift and that's when he saw another of his hunting party walking and he called
him over and he began to explain what he had heard and then the witness told him about what he had heard./
Returning to camp they told others but no one was in their area and hadn't heard or seen anything./ Going back the
following weekend witness waited until daylight before going back to his stand. He shot a deer and went back to camp.
The friend also had returned and in the area that he had been found matted hair that when unrolled were almost 20
inches long./ Several months later he had a friend at the university Of Georgia look at them and was told it wasn't horse
hair or hog hair but without further testing they couldn't determine what it was.The witness said he hasn't returned to

BROWARD COUNTY-Davie,Fl./ Two brothers in a pasture hiking found an old semi trailer./ Inside they said it had a very
bad smell./ Then they saw something across a canal in area that was waving its arms above its head.

POLK COUNTY-Frostproof,Fl./ Lake Arbuckle Campground./ Several campers sitting around a campfire saw a dark
figure, to dark to make out./ There was a bad smell but they said that could have been the swamp. ( Either these
campers were convinced what they saw was more then something that they knew and didn't want to sound crazy or they
saw something that was normal but couldn't make out and thought they should report it just in case.

POLK COUNTY-Locoochee River,Fl./ Green Swamp Area./ Witness and his son were out hunting./ He said he was in the
lead on the trail leading down to the river./ He saw a Skunk Ape kneeling down by the river bed./ The witness turned to
check on son who was a few steps back and when he turned back around the creature was gone./ The sighting was
about 50 to 75 yards away./ It was a clear day.

COLLIER COUNTY-Ochobee,Fl./ 8 men working on a house in the deep woods, swamp./ They were there to tare it
down./ The witness reported that there was a bad smell coming from the basement?(There aren't any basements in that
area as water is only a few inches/feet under the ground ) The land also is hard shell and coral./ A lot of houses are
built on stilts because of rising water so maybe the under neath was enclosed and that was what he meant??) The
witness said they were waiting on the roof for equipment that was being brought in by trucks, that's when he saw the

1979-Reported 2009- ALABAMA- Baldwin County/ Hurricane Landing,what is now Perkins Landing is nearest town
north of Mobile. Witness said when he was 11 years old he lived off Hurricane Road which took you down to Hurricane
Landing and Fish Camp,his grandparents owned the fish camp. It was right after Hurricane Fredric went through and
their power was out so they had to keep their food on ice. It was about 11 Pm. and his Dad sent him down to the camp
for more ice. He got a flashlight and headed out walking. He said he was use to walking there as it was only about
quarter of a mile. He was walking down the left side of the road and was going by a neighbors house, a little white
house that has sense been torn down and a new home put in its place.The older man who lived there kept dogs in the
back in a pen and they were carrying on. The witness shone his light towards the back yard to see what they were
barking at and that's when he saw something large run across the back yard towards the woods. He kept his light on it,
but then it stopped and they just stared at one another. He said he was so scared he couldn't move, it then let out a
loud high pitch growl and the witness screamed and and it turned and ran for the woods and he ran for home. He was
so upset that his parents had a hard time calming him down, though they didn't believe him when he told them what he
saw. They said it was a bear. But witness said he knew bears didn't run on two legs. It was broad, about 7 feet tall. It
was covered in dark brown hair from head to toe.The mouth was large, square teeth that stuck out from the rest of face
with deep set eyes. He said he was a veteran and that was the scariest thing that ever happened to him.
Father said two weeks after fishing with another family member he heard something moving around on shore as they
fished at night about 10 miles down the bayou. It followed them as they left but it always stayed out of the spotlight.

1979-MISSISSIPPI-Hinds County-Jackson Mississippi-October/ Witness and friends were sitting off of County Line
Road west between Watson Dr. and Hanging Moss Road. Listening to the radio and drinking a few beers. His friend
Tim whose car they were in asked "Did you hear that"? They turned the radio off and rolled the windows down a little.
Didn't hear anything so they turned the radio back up that's when a few minutes later they did hear something,it was a
loud growl. Something the witness said he'd never heard before.Looking across the pond ,cat tails about 7 feet
tall,Tim turned on the head lights and they saw eyes that shone green in the car lights.They all agreed that it had to
be a Bigfoot. It had to be at least 8 feet tall. It had a cone head just like a silver back gorilla and was black as far as
the witness could tell. Tim turned off the headlights and worked at starting the engine which was taking its time turning
over.That's when the animal let out a spine tingling roar kind of like a lion but louder and longer. When the car started
turning the lights back on the creature was still there. They wasted no time in getting out of there. The witness said
that they were very scared and they didn't tell many people but the witness said it still remains clear in his memory
until this day.
