SARASOTA COUNTY-Myakka,Fl/ Two brothers fishing on Myakka Lake had their motor die on
them so they drifted to shore and decided to walk out./ After getting lost they decided to
follow a fence line out./ As they walked they heard noises in the woods./ One witness started
to throw rocks up a head of them to chase off what ever wild animal might be making the
sound./ After one such rock throw the rock was thrown back./ The boys started to run they
were so scared./ They finally came out on a road about 2 AM./ Where Rangers out in force
found them./ They were told that they had everyone scared to death./ A year later a picture
was taken of what a lady said was a Skunk Ape in the same area the boys had been in./ Lady
sent the picture and it was put on the front page of the Weekly World Tabloid.
PUTNAM COUNTY-Bardin,Fl./ Bud Key told many stories of "The Bardin Booger" through the
years. He claimed he never saw it but knew folks who had./ His store had tee shirts with the
creatures drawing on them that he had for sale./ The St. Petersburg Times had a story wrote up
about Bud and his neighbors.
SARASOTA COUNTY-Osprey,Fl./ March 1st./ In a very wooded area with low lying land that turns
into swamp during rainy season./ The house sits on a dead end road./ The witness was clearing
brush with the help of his wife; they were dragging branches and putting them in a pile when they
caught wind of a bad smell that made his wife gag./ Later that night about 11PM.,news was on,
the wife went to their back porch to smoke./ She came running back in screaming that something
big was outside the porch./ Thinking it was a raccoon he went to check, he couldn't see because
of the darkness so he let out a yelp at the intruder to scare it off./ Right then it screamed back, it
sounded like a woman screaming at the top of her lungs. / He ran back into the house and locked
the door./ They could hear it moving around outside./ It walked like a human./ It made a path 8 feet
tall and 4 foot wide through the woods./ The witness telling his neighbor found that he too had an
encounter with the creature in a stream down from them just a few days before.
SANTA ROSA COUNTY-Milton,Fl. / near Black Water National Forest./ This was near Hwy.191./ Several friends were
partying and cooking out next to the River. / The two witnesses who saw this"Thing" weren't drinking,as they were
designated drivers/ They heard crunching of leaves in the woods so they went to have a look./ They
saw this"Thing" standing behind a tree watching them./ They yelled at it thinking it was someone
playing a joke on them but got no response./ They heard a splash and this creature moved to the
other side of the river./ The witnesses said they calmly went back to the others and told them to
pack up, about that time they heard a splash this was directly in front of them./ They started
moving faster and got every one out./ They said they could hear weird calls as they were driving
away./ They never went back to the area.
WALTON COUNTY-New Harmony,Fl./ Around dusk about 5:30-6:00 PM./ The witness said he finally
knew what it was he heard when he listened to a TV program about Bigfoot and a sound recording
that they had./ His encounter happened when he was deer hunting; He was up in a deer stand
which he just recently built./ It had only been used probably four times./ He had always seen deer
there and this day was no exception./ A doe and her fawn were feeding close by./ He decided to
wait another thirty minutes hoping for a big buck./ That's when he heard a shriek about 100 yards
behind him./ The deer froze and then ran off in the direction of the sound./ The witness got down
and went home not knowing what it was he heard./ He said it sounded like a two engine motor on
a chain saw./ He told his grandpa who passed it off as probably a beaver harvesting wood.
SUWANNEE COUNTY-July/ Hardwood forest of oak and pine and pasture land./ Driving home in the
morning hours around 3:00 AM, finishing her shift, this Registered Nurse saw what she thought
was a bear running down the middle of the road./ She kept getting slower as she came up on it and
as she approached closer she realizes what she thought was a bear wasn't a bear because of the
physical characteristics.
MARION COUNTY-Alexander Springs,Ocala National Forest,Fl./ A couple camping for the weekend
had been playing cards about 3AM./ The friend went to sleep but the witness had a headache and
he was just lying there when he heard something in camp./ He started to get up and chase away
what he thought was probably a raccoon when a shadow on the tent that was reflected by a light
in the campground area stopped him./ It looked too huge to be a person,way to big./ It was
standing on two legs like a human./ He woke up his companion and they waited for the intruder to
leave./ The next morning they found their camp ransacked./ There were other campers but he
didn't believe that one of them did the damage./ They joked about it being a "Bigfoot". / They went
to town and bought more supplies and returned to camp./ At dusk they started getting nervous and
decided to leave./ They were so scared they packed up in a hurry so much so they forgot their
tent./ Later the witness called the Park Rangers and asked if they had found their huge tent that
they had left behind./ They said they had and would put it up for them for when they returned./ The
witness said that wasn't going to happen.
LAKE COUNTY-Eustis,Fl./ 1995 / It was a clear sunny day, between 10 Am. and 2 Pm./ Very wooded area with no other
houses around./ Two witness / Mother who wasn't a witness turned in the report./ Mother said she was in the house
cleaning with her two children outside playing./ They ran inside excitedly saying they had just seen a bear crossing the
road next to the stop sign ,which was about a block away./ It crossed the road and entered the woods on the opposite
side of the road./ Mother said she knew there were black bears in the area so wanting to find out if it was a grown bear
or a young one, she asked them how big it was. They said it was taller then the stop sign. / Confused she asked them if
it had stood up on its hind legs at the stop sign before crossing the road./ They said no it came out of the woods on its
hind legs and walked across the road and went into the woods still on its hind legs./ Knowing bears don't travel but
possibly a very short distance or so on their hind legs she knew this wasn't a bear./ The children, teens now don't
remember the Incident. She said her children hadn't heard of Bigfoot or Skunk Ape so they described the creature by
what they knew

1995- LIBERTY COUNTY- Bristol ,Fl. This happened 20 miles south of town./ Tracks 18 inches by 8 inches wide./ Heal
shape like bear./ Witness said he could feel something close by./ This report was by a seasoned woodsman that was
75 years old at the time.The tracks were found along the Appalachicola River
BROWARD COUNTY- Titusville,Fl./ Radio Station 104.1 Announcer talks about the "Cabbage Man"./ He was said to
stand 7 feet tall with light brown hair and big hunches./ Those who saw it said it moved very fast./ The DJ said he saw it
too,twice on Route 50 and the Junction 520 near Titusville./ Late night call by a lady claimed she saw same thing,also
claimed that others saw it too including her daughter and friends./ Folks around the area would get drunk and hunt it./ It
followed a car at 50 miles an hour then ran off./ The Cabbage Patch Inn had a habituate that said he saw the monster
carrying an alligator.
OKALOOSA COUNTY- Valaparasio Fl./ Bordering Elgin Air Force Base Reservation./ Fall off the year when five
witnesses saw a humanoid figure two miles north of the HWY 85.

Related.
LEE COUNTY-Old Bayshore Road.- After dark, After light rain, ground wet./ sighting lasted 3 minutes./ Witness said
that they felt curious and scared./ Height about 6 foot tall, weight about 250 pounds./ Dark color, hairy../ Possibly eating
something in the road./ When they stopped it stood up, looked at them then turned around and walked away into the
brush. It walked upright though on all fours when they first saw it on the road./ It didn't swing its arms, elbows were bent
and arms were held in front./ It had a waist./ No odor noticed./ This isn't first time the creature has been seen in this
area, there were 2 other times, one by witness's brothers girlfriend who it chased down the road at around 2 Am.
