SIGHTINGS 1999
ESCAMBIA COUNTY- Moline,Fl./ Very swampy about 5:30 PM/ Sitting in a tree stand; The area is known
for the creature called "The Swamp Booger"./ It wasn't quite dark witness was watching three does
eating waiting for the buck that had been in the area./ Deer started running in circles and blowing when
the witness heard a popping sound behind him./ An eerie creature came out of the woods within 10
yards of him./ The deer ran off./ The witness said he was afraid to shoot because he only had arrows as
he was bow hunting./ The creature stood about 7 feet tall, as it walked it broke bushes off, possibly
marking territory???/ Witness stayed in tree stand until 9 PM because he was afraid to leave./ Now when
he hunts he carries a flashlight as big as a horses leg.
KEANSVILLE,Fl.- Three lakes Wildlife Management Area./ 8 t0 9 feet creature walking at high speed./ There were
three witnesses.
COLLIER COUNTY- Tourist Development Council okayed $44,000.00 tourist tax grant for Skunk Ape Research./ Vote
was 4 to 1, this was August of 1999.
COLLIER COUNTY-County Commission turned down tourist tax grant when it came before them./ It was reported by the
Naples Daily News that Mr. Dave Sheally said he felt lead on.
COLLIER COUNTY-Ms. J.S. was traveling down Hwy 29 to Hwy 41 because of detour./ There was lots of smoke
because the woods was on fire./ She was on her way to Ft. Lauderdale./ On this narrow road she saw a creature run
across road in front of her car./ It stood about 7 feet tall covered in brown fur./ It was running upright on two legs./ She
thought it was getting away from the fire./ There was a cheesy smell in the air.
GEORGIA- Carroll County/ Two brothers were fishing in an area that had a waterfall above them./ They were walking
along the shoals when they spotted a creature that seemed to be playing in the water./ The noise of the falls an moving
water kept the creature from hearing them approach./ The creature all of a sudden stopped and then jumped to the cliff
and climbed out of sight./ The creature was red, brown where the neck should be./ The rest of the body was dark
brown./ It was 200 to 400 lbs. and stood 7 to 8 feet tall./ One brother said he didn't like the idea that something like that
was out there./ These men had hunted and fished the area for years.
JACKSON COUNTY- Grand Ridge,Fl./ Woods and thickets./ Neighbor losing chickens./ One neighbors coop was fixed
so animals couldn't get in, it wasn't tore up but his chickens were gone too./ Neighbor heard moaning sounds.
SARASOTA COUNTY-North Port,Fl./ These witnesses lived bordering Myakka State Park./ They lived on the backside
where its still very isolated./ They woke up one night to something in their yard./ There was a bad smell, then a loud
scream./ Wondering what or who it was the witness wanted to go out and check./ Trying to get his dogs to go with him
they wouldn't leave the room./ Having second thoughts he didn't go after all./ Their child slept through it all./ They
have lived in the area for thirty years.
MARION COUNTY-Dunnellon,Fl./ Rainbow Estates./ April/ 5:30 Pm./ Very wooded area witness was walking to his bus
stop when he saw a white colored Bigfoot(Skunk Ape) walking normally back into the woods./ Something came out of
the woods one night and pounded on walls of house after a cook out earlier in the evening./ Another occasion one
growled at a family member through window./ very wild country with a National Forest nearby.
OSCEOLA COUNTY- Three Lakes Management Area,Fl./ Witness sitting in his tree stand on a day that was overcast
and fixing to storm said he was amazed, shocked to see a Skunk Ape./ The creature was 8 to 9 feet tall and weighed
about 600 lbs./ There was a strong odor like you would smell in a zoo./ The creature was human like, black in color,
hunched over with a cone head./ It had very wide shoulders./ It was extremely fast but not running./ Another hunter
also saw the Skunk Ape.
GEORGIA- On November 15,1999 J.H.Chilcut,Latent Fingerprint Examiner with the Conroe Police Department in
Conroe Texas receieved from Dr.Jeff Meldrum Dept. Biological Science Idaho State University in Pocatello,Idaho a
plaster cast made by Deputy James P. Adkin of the Pike County Sheriffs Office in Pike County Georgia in 1997 from
an impression found in the Elkins Creek flood plain. The cast was 17 1/2 inches long and 8.5 inches wide. The cast
was examed over several months. The cast had dermal ridges that were neither made by a human or by any other
primate that we know.

ALABANMA- Nov.23,1999-Talladega County- Talladega National Forest./ Witness said that it was about 11 PM> at
night when she and her daughter ,sitting in the passenger seat with grandaughter in the back seat,were traveling
down 2 lane road when a road sign said to slow down to 20 miles an hour.,sharp curve. / She said she took the curve
slowly thats when she spotted a Skunk Ape on the side of the road. Her headlights shone right on it. It was about 8
feet from the car. It was hunched over like it wanted to attack,acting upset. The eyes glowed orange in the
headlights. It was unkempt with dark reddish colored hair,no neck. Face looked like Paterson film. / It had and hands
and feet and wasn't an animal./ The area covers 392,567 acres in the central and east central Alabama. This region
is the beginning of the Appalachain Mountains Range in the Southeast. The daughter who was a passenger refuses
to talk about it.

OSCEOLA COUNTY-March-Motorist found 6 thirteen by 8 and 1/2 inch tracks near small bridge that led to large gate.

OSCEOLA COUNTY-January-Hunter was sitting in his deer stand when he saw a bi-pedal creature walking at a high
rate of speed.

COLLIER COUNTY-July5-7th.-Big Cypress National Park-Wooded area,Little rain but clear. Wet soggy ground./
5:50-6:20 Pm. /30 seconds/ Witness said excited but scared./Creature was eating something(Witness claims to have
remnants of food.) The creature moved very fast. Stood 6 1/2 to 7 foot tall. With black hair./ 300 to 3 50 pounds./ Not
nearly as hairy as a gorilla in the face more human like features.Witness said it ran away when he yelled."Witness
remarked that he'd never thought it was real before-Thought at first it was a gorilla but it was absolutely part human".
