2000-MARION COUNTY-Jan-Rainbow Springs State Park,Fl. Birder has a daylight sighting.
HIGHLANDS COUNTY-(Near Hardy County) Charlie Creek,Fl/ Four campers were sitting around their campfire getting
ready to relax and talk./ A rock was thrown at them from the opposite shore landing at their feet./ They heard
chatter,one said he thought it was whispering and giggling but two others said it sounded was more like chatter and
whooping./ Several rocks were thrown and then they heard movement on their side of the creek behind an old abandon
hunting trailer./ The campers getting nervous yelled at the intruders telling them that they better show themselves or
leave, that there were guns in the camp and they were going to start shooting./ Now there was more chattering and
rocks and sticks being thrown, one of the men decided he'd had enough and standing, showing that he had a rifle, he
shot in to the tree tops across the water./ This didn't seem to scare the entruders./ Now everyone was getting scared
and decided that they would pack up and leave. As one of the men stood watch the others packed everything, throwing
everything in to the backs of their trucks and left in a hurry./ The story was told to me many times and they laughed at
how they had run around camp like crazy people but the one witness kept bringing the story up and finally I asked him,
after telling him my story because I had a feeling he was upset and had a different idea who it was that night, is this what
he thought was happening that night. He looked at me and set down and said that was exactly what he thought
happened, that it wasn't humans, because what person is going to stand around throwing sticks and rocks while
someone is shooting a gun at them, he was afraid to tell anyone what he thought it was because he didn't want to be
laughed at. Talking to another of the campers they said it never crossed their mind it could be anything but somebody
but they agreed that it was chatter and whooping and that they were attacked by sticks and rocks and that they felt
surrounded and scared.

VOLUSA COUNTY-Near Edgewater./ This is the last of the three sightings reported by the couple 1998-1999/ It was
"Bike Week" and friends were over all in the back yard around the camp fire./ They saw eyes that shone red in the
firelight./ They could here it moving in the woods around property./ This place is right next to Thousand Acres
Management Area .

MARION COUNTY- Summerfield,Fl./ Oct.15th? Dogs barking at 12 AM. awoke witness who went to investigate./ Heard
awful screams/ They heard it kill something then everything got quiet./ Then they heard it moving again./ The male
witness shot off his shotgun and the creature moved out of hearing /OCT.28th./ They had cookout with 12 friends./ They
heard this thing again./ Someone mentioned it had to be big to make such noise moving around in the woods./ It
sounded like it was moving on two legs.( The female witness said she reported it to the Fish and Wildlife Commission the
first time they heard it./ They went and bought equipment to record it./ The recording could be heard but wasn't very
clear./ A guest and the male witness went into the woods to find out what it was the second time, they didn't see
anything.)-NOTE- Two different neighbors had their goats killed, one had four killed and one neighbor had one killed.

BAY COUNTY-Southport,Fl./ It was the fall of the year and the witness was riding in a four wheel drive jeep near the
power plant./ They stopped, wondering which way they should go next when he and two others with him heard a loud

SARASOTA COUNTY-Myakka Skunk Ape caused a stir. / A land
owner sent some pictures to the Sarasota Sheriffs Office,said the
creature had been around stealing fruit off their back porch./ She
didn't give her name or exact location but wanted someone to
come check it out./ She was afraid that someone might get hurt./

others say its a dog and a Japaneze woman said it was a Japanese
custom.

GEORGIA-Ginnett County- Alcoy,GA./ Traveling down Alcoy Road witness saw something big and hairy that looked like
a man.There weren't any lights along the road and this was about 9:30 at night.Hilly area. Approaching Alcoy River
when this thing ran in front of his headlights. It stared at the witness. It had the look of deer in headlights. Huge and it
just stood looking at witness. Then it ran off into woods. The witness said he sat a little longer getting hisself together
before traveling home. His Family didn't believe him at first,it took a while. Located in Northeastern Georgia.

BROWARD COUNTY-(Possibly Collier County)-Everglades Commercial Campground./ May 2000/ Humid weather./
Several campers staying in cabin were kept awake by weird grunting sounds and croaking./ getting up and looking out
a window they saw a 9 ft. tall weird hairy creature./ Witness said didn't sleep the rest of night./ Getting up next morning
thought it might have been a dream but others in cabin confirmed the incedent./ Was to scared to go to camp faculties
for shower.

2000-CHILTON ALABAMA-Nearest town Verbenda-May 13/ Private property/ Witness was riding 4 wheeler at 11 Am
when going over a hill by his home he saw a hairy creature standing about 7 1/2 to 8 feet tall. starring back at him./ The
witness was scared so he turned the ATV around topping the hill he looked back at the animal where he came to a stop.
The creature very calm turned and stepped into the woods. This was the first encounter until this year. A friend from
church went out to the property with him and they were chased off back porch by a large animal about 1:30 in the
morning. The witness was sure it was the same animal he'd seen in 2000. Claims to have had 2 more run ins with the
creature.The house stands empty now and the property is used mainly for hunting. A neighbor claimed he was run back
to his house as he was out back at his well in the woods.The animal had black coarse hair and weighed about 300 to
400 pounds.

Hwy 441 through Paynes Prairie Reserve State Park. The four lane Hwy is divided by a grassy median. It
was around 6 Am. in the morning when she noticed a hair covered bipedal figure crossing on to the median
from the opposite lanes. It stopped on the median when she was about 2 car lengths away. This is when
she started slowing down. It kept its head turned from her at first, then it started across the road in front of
her. It glanced her way before it stepped down into what she said was a ravine or ditch. She looked but
couldn't see anymore though the vegetation wasn't that thick or tall,she thought it must have ducked down
trying to hide. She was very frightened . Describing what she saw,said It was covered in brown,scraggly,
course hair. The hair on its head and forehead looked longer than the hair on its body. She wasn't sure but
it might have been wet. When it ran it moved quickly and held its arms out like a muscle man. It ran on two
legs but was hunched over." It looked like how a monkey would run if it were on two legs",she said. It was 6
foot tall or taller and she felt it was young. Very muscular and stout.The witness couldn't remember the
facial features as it only looked at her for a split second.The feet reminded her of "Fred Flintstones".The
strangest thing was it seemed to be wearing a burlap,crude covering. It sort of draped over the shoulders
and went to about the waist in the back. It looked unraveled ,dingy and worn-out.She thought she saw a
caveman at first but said she knew it wasn't a caveman or a bear or a human.Though it happened 10 years
ago its still imprinted on her memory. She said she didn't drive down Hwy 441 for along time afterwards.

2000-Elbert County-Georgia/ Oglethorpe or Athens(Undisclosed area and road)/ Several encounters in Area it used
to live in back of witnesses woods near the swamp but since clearing of land it moved further back but still seen in the
area.A young one with Mother. It's been seen through the years and still spotted at times. No threat to humans the
witness said and wants it left alone but would like to get it protected..Witness is a registered nurse.
