2006-MARION COUNTY-Ocala National Forest-July-Salt Springs,Fl.-Highway / Father and daughter traveling down
forest road 65 in the Forest./ Nearing intersection road 65 and forest road 90. Road was white sand../ Noticed a figure
at a distance silhouetted against the white sandy Rd. that was going up the hill. Thought at first it was a man because it
was a good distance away. There weren't any campgrounds around area. It was a very hot day to be walking. The
figure didn't seem to be carrying anything as a hitch hiker would. There is a trail a mile or two from the area but the trail
crosses the Rd a good bit south of where they were. As they got closer they saw that the figure was dark and seemed
to be covered in hair. It then crossed the road to the other side guessing it to be 5-6 feet tall. When they got to area it
crossed they stopped and looked but saw nothing but thick pine woods. They were in shock by what they saw and
didn't think until later that they should have looked for tracks.
2006-MONROE COUNTY-March-Everglades National Park./ Daytime sighting.
2006-MONROE COUNTY-March- Everglades National Park./ On road to Flamingo in Everglades Park right outside the
Park near the boat ramps and docks./ Witness was in car pulling boat out of the water when witness noticed several
people taking pictures and some looking through binoculars,out of their cars.(Blue Jeep might have been the only car
with several people from the same vehicle) Witness then looked and saw a creature,7-9 feet tall muscular covered in
dark brown fur. Had patch of white on chin./ It was just standing there. Witness said his dad thought it was a bear and
his mom who doesn't believe in Skunk Ape said it was a deer. Witness said he thought it was a Skunk Ape. There were
five people looking at the same thing that morning. The creature was standing and shaded by a tree.
2006-ORANGE COUNTY-Sept.2/ This happened outside of Orlando,Fl. near Ocoee exit and Fl Turnpike. Witness and
wife were traveling to waterford shopping mall. Wife was driving and witness was looking at the scenery and looking for
wildlife. Various swampy patches, and he was looking to catch sight of an Alligator this is when off to his right he caught
sight of a man walking in a very swampy rugged section of meadow about a hundred yards from the turnpike. He was
traveling in the same direction as they were. He watched the figure for 5 to 10 seconds. Thought gutsy to walk in the
area all by himself. The figure seemed to have an odd gait. It was dressed all in brown,tall grass covered the lower legs
and feet. It was totally covered in brown in the heat that seemed odd. No short sleeves and no hat. It was a clear day
and was 95 degrees out. Could tell the hair on heard was long. Very Strange.
2006-SUWANNEE COUNTY-I-10 just leaving I-75 heading west It was early morning about 4 Am. Friend was a sleep
witness was driving. Saw a figure crossing road. Really tall about 6 ft.. Walked weird like an ape. Couldn't remember
specific colors because of light ,thought it was brown.

2006-MANATEE COUNTY-Nov.-Between Sarasota and Bradenton- Motorist on I-75./ Morning/ Spotted large ape like
creature moving slowly in a large field covered in palmettos and scrub brush with isolated marsh and palm trees. Her
husband saw it too.

POLK COUNTY- Memorial Day weekend./ May 27th./ It was around 1:30 AM. when the camper said that he returned to
camp after a party on his four wheeler./ It was a long ride and right before he entered camp he stopped to remove a
pinch of dip./ He cleaned out his mouth and that's when he heard breaking branches./ Something grunted right beside
the witness about 15 to 20 feet away./ Thinking it was a wild hog he looked in the direction of the sound and that's when
he saw something standing up looking at him./ Looking closer he saw it was covered with hair and stood 7 to 8 feet tall./
it had glowing eyes./ The witness started back to camp watching as the creature followed./ Then it yelled and the witness
said that really scared him./ Telling his cousin later he said he also saw a creature one late afternoon,said it strutted in
front of his buggy,it looked at him then took off into the thickness of the area./ Witness said he would like to go back and
try to get a video.
CLAY COUNTY- Middlesburg,Fl./ It was mid day,hot and clear./ Two teenage boys traveling down Highway 215 off
Hwy. 21 south dropped their bikes by the bridge that crosses the creek and entered the woods to play paintball./
They saw something move making noise in front of them and then they saw a gigantic,upright,black creature run
across the trail./ The sighting was about 5 seconds long./ It looked at them as it ran,seeing them it accelerated and
ran up a five foot drop and disappeared into the woods./ Both said it was or looked like a tall,naked dark human
being.
CLAY COUNTY- Middlesburg,Fl./ Nov.17 th./ 9:30 PM./ Lake Ashbury./ at a Church Camp set in the woods on a
dark,but enough light to see,a dark,black shaggy haired,8 foot tall creature ran straight across in front of the witness
about 50 feet away./ The creature had a dome head./ The shoulders twisted back and forth./ The arms hung straight
down at its side,not pumping like a humans./ It was very big./ Very broad shoulders./ Had a horrible smell./ Abt.5 min.
later the witness heard hooting noises at different intervals.
HIGHLANDS COUNTY-Lake Placid,Fl./ Placid Lakes Estates area./ Three witnesses on ATV's saw a creature the size
of "Shaqille O'Neal about 40 yards away./ Face looked mannish,not ape like./ It had brownish-black hair was about 4
inches long./ Arms hung down at its side not pumping as it ran./ Prints were seen but couldn't distinguish toes, just print
of foot.
COLLIER COUNTY- Alligator Alley,Fl./ Oct.05/ Witness,a test driver was traveling down Alligator Alley when he saw
what looked to him like a hairy animal standing on the right side of the road./ It was about 6 foot tall./ It was standing in
a clearing about 20 feet south of the canal that runs along the roadway.
-NOV.15,2006-MARION COUNTY FLORIDA=Bear Hammock,Dunnellon Florida./ While driving through the woods
where witness hunts,said he was stopped at a four way. Thats when he shinned the spot light up the road,about 500
yards in front of him he saw a huge,hairy 8 foot tall man walking away,very slowly across the road. It was winter but not
really cold. It was about 9 PM. at night. Doesn't no of any other reports in the area. He said he never believed in
"Bigfoot"(Skunk Ape) but now he does regardless of what anyone might think he knows what he saw.
2006-BROWARD COUNTY-Everglades National Park out of Ft.Lauderdale,Fl./ NOV.10,2006/ Witness camping with her
boyfriend and his two children heard weird noises not knowing what it was ignored it but as she looked up she saw a
Skunk ape./ It was real big and ran away when it noticed her looking at it. It stood abt.8 ft. tall./
2006- PAULDING COUNTY- Hirm, Georgia- June 6,/ 20 year veteran public service officer said he had arrived home
about 1 Am in the morning and parked his vehicle. He hadn't gone but abt. 5 steps when he heard a howl, then an ape
like grunt. He stopped and listened, the howl lasted just a few seconds but it was loud and scary. Looking towards his
neighbors home he saw that all the lights were out, he then looked towards the wood line. Heavy pine woods. It was very
dark and he couldn't see anything but he thought that someone was playing with him. Waiting a few seconds he howled
back and immediately something in the woods howled back ,this time it was closer. He pulled out his gun and walked
backwards to his house. There seemed to be two as the one in the woods howled then another howled much closer abt.
75 feet away. He felt that what ever this was it was big, way bigger then his 6 foot and 300 pounds. He went into his
home and then looked out the window for a while. He said he woke his wife and asked her if there had been any news
reports of an ape escaping from a zoo or circus. She said no. Not thinking it was a Bigfoot he later heard some sound
clippings and then read where his neighbor had reported something similar earlier on the Internet. He believes its the
same animal.
GEORGIA-LUMPKIN COUNTY-North of Dahlonga./This incident happened in the fall of 2006./ It was a side road that is
called Dockery Lake Road or possibly FS 654 which is close to the Lake and camping area.
Witness who's a business man and his girlfriend who sits on the board of education preferred to remain anonymous;
They were sitting in his truck as he put it "Having some pretty heavy conversation" when he said that they should get
out and just walk for awhile. The moon was out but at that time was hidden from view and they walked along the road by
flashlight.
His girlfriend was talking and he was listening when he smelt something strong like a skunk,which seemed to get worse
as they progressed. He thought maybe a camper had left trash behind and that was what they were smelling. Traveling
around a couple bends in the road getting further away from his truck,which he had made sure was locked,he started
feeling uncomfortable and told his friend that they should head back. As they turned around they saw a huge figure
standing in the road just at the edge of the flashlight shine. Witness said he was 6'3'' and this figure was at least 8 to 9
feet tall. He guessed it weighed about 500 lbs. The head was moving back and forth like an owl does when its looking at
something. Its eyes reflected like a dogs. It never came towards them it just sort of swayed in place. It took a second for
it to register that's when his girlfriend went to screaming,unnerving him and the figure. He called the being Goliath
because that was how he felt like David and Goliath. It stepped off the road and disappeared out of flashlight range. He
told his friend to run,it took a second for her to move and then she hung onto him as he tried to move quickly back to
the truck. Once there he couldn't get the key in the lock with holding flashlight,girlfriend hanging on and still screaming
instructions to him. Finally in the truck they left the area. After telling a few folks he was laughed at that is why he would
prefer to remain unknown.
DUVAL COUNTY-Jacksonville ,Fl.-May-20,2006/ The witness said he was patroling the area around The University Of
Florida at 9Am,when he spotted several limbs and tree formations some arched like a TP and others like an X
formation./ He had the feeling that something was watching him and shadowing his every move./ He never got a visual
but thought it was strange that it didn't run away./ There was a wet dog smell in the area./ Lots of trees and tree coverd
wet lands.
SANTA ROSA COUNTY- 03-17-2006-Wooded Terrain and Swampy./ About 11Am. on this beautiful morning witness
and her husband, who was driving their Van, were on their way to pick up payroll checks for their business./ The
witness said she was enjoying the scenery when she saw something in the marshy grass right before the River./ It was
large and hairy,a reddish brown in color./ It was about 6 feet tall and walked upright ,slightly slouched over, moving
south towards the River.There was a bad smell.
CHARLOTTE COUNTY- March-15,2006 / Swampy terrain./ 4:30 Pm./ Riding on a tour bus with others,witness said
he saw a Skunk ape that was standing about 100 yards away./ There were many animals out,they even had wild
hogs run across in front of the bus./ Making a joke of the sighting was surprised when no-one else said anything./ He
didn't mention it again./ What he saw was covered in hair. It was a human shaped animal.
PASCO COUNTY-Cypress Creek Well Field-2006-Nearest town Land Of Lakes Florida./ 12 year old boy and friends
saw a creature that was about 25 foot away hiding behind a tree./ It looked to be over 6 feet tall,very buffed,black hair
covered its whole body./ He said it looked like across between a human and an ape.He remembered its eyes most of
all,they were brown and piercing. Its lips were black and nose was flat like a gorillas./ In July 2008 he thought he might
have had another sighting as he was riding his dirt bike. He saw it out of his peripheral vision. It was black and hairy
and was running off into the swamp./ He went home ,told his mom and they went to look for signs.
Year 2006- BAKER COUNTY-April12-Taylor,Florida. Nearest road -Road1/ Witness said that he'd been hearing a turkey
many times in the area so he and his then father-in-law went out hunting for it. They were getting close as it was calling
then it suddenly shut up. Thinking that this was weird as witness was an avid hunter, they went across the swamp to a
clear spot were they had seen a hen. There wasn't any turkey around. They kept calling but they didn't get a return call.
They went back to the road and were headed for his truck when they came to where the swamp crossed over the road,
the same swamp they had crossed before, when they got to the other side they saw the biggest human barefoot print
they'd ever seen. It was headed in the direction of the turkey, he felt that's why the bird got quiet. They got out of there
in a hurry. It was about 9 Am and foggy, swampy area and hot.
This isn't the first time the witness had an encounter with what he called"Taylor Wild Man." When he was a child ,he and
his sister shared a bedroom and one night he saw a large bipedal hairy creature from his bedroom window. It was
standing on the opposite side of the family truck. It stood higher then the cab. He said the cab came to about its rib
cage. It stood like a man but it was hairy all over. It was real big
Another time he and his sister both saw a big five fingered hairy hand on the bedroom window which was about 6 feet off
the ground. It scared them both and his sister he remembers cried.
JEFFERSON COUNTY-2006--Fall- Hunting Season-Ashville,Florida/ Witness was in a tree stand on a farm. He'd been
there for about 2 hours and hadn't seen any deer. A devout hunter he said he knew what the sounds of the regular
game made. It was about 4:30 Pm, the light was fading that's when he heard two loud "Cries or yells" that he never
heard before or since. It was a bout 150 to 200 yards out. He sat and waited then he heard it again only closer this
time. He didn't notice any unusual smells. The wind was blowing to his back, but anything down wind could smell him.
There was a large oak tree with a young sapling about 8-10 feet tall with high 2 foot grass around them. He saw the
sapling shake, as he watched he saw it shake again, it was whipping back and forth. The tall grasses were not blowing
in the same manner. He said he sat there with his high powered rifle in disbelief. Feeling uneasy after a few minutes he
got down and slowly exited the woods.

NAPLES - The "Skunk Ape," Florida's answer to the Bigfoot legend, is making one of its periodic appearances - this time
in the form of a 5-year-old blurry photograph.
Tales of the Skunk Ape, a smelly, hairy giant ape man, have circulated in Florida for more than six decades, but no one
has ever come up with conclusive proof the creature exists.
Judy Caseley of Foxboro, Mass., said she snapped the fuzzy photo of the gorilla-like creature walking through Big
Cypress National Preserve on a hot July afternoon five years ago, but kept the images to herself because she didn't
think people would believe her.
"I didn't want people to think I was crazy," Caseley told the Naples Daily News. "People are like, if they don't see
something they don't believe it. I can understand that because I didn't totally believe in it."
Recently, the photo went on display with tamer subjects Caseley has photographed at the Museum of the Everglades in
Everglades City. She hopes to sell the photos for $175.
The museum lets patrons make their own decisions about the photo's authenticity.
"They ask if it is real, and I throw it back at them and ask, Do you think it is real?"said Martha Schramm, a museum
assistant."I'm pretty neutral on that."
