This was reported to me from Southern Iraq. March 6,2008- Time 2358(11:58PM.) there were two witnesses
but actually a whole Patrol was involved. Camp Becca,Iraq/ Night ,Hazy and Hot./ sighting was about 2
minutes./ Ages of reporting witnesses 23 and 35.(Though this site is for the area of Florida and states that
connect I wanted to add this as a Florida service man was involved and said he had seen a Skunk ape and
that was what this sighting looked like and what he called it. He said that he tried to report this but was told
he was crazy and better keep his mouth shut. This is what the witness reported to me= "We were on Patrol
in Southern Iraq, mind you it was night but due to our night vision goggles and optics we were able to see
clearly. The lead HMMWV hit something that let out a terrible roar and charged us. I do not remember much
as it all happened so fast, but I do recall seeing a large creature charge one of the hummers and then run
off into nearby Palm Grove. After warning shots were discharged, we dismounted and I remember the
strange stench that permeated the area, something like rotten eggs and garbage. We pursued but were
called back to the Patrol to continue to our objective. One of the soldiers who was from Florida and had
seen a Skunk Ape before tried to report the sighting. He was told to keep his mouth shut. Apparently there
have been several sightings in the past few months of a strange hairy biped in the general area around
the Palm Grove described above. All have been told to keep their mouths shut or face UCMJ action against
them." The creature acted angry, scared and it was injured. Noticed arms were long and so were the legs./
The hair was fairly long too./ Didn't see face and didn't get to do follow up./ The witness added"I believe
that there is a Skunk Ape population in Iraq, after asking some of the locals it turns out that there have
been "Stinky Monster" (A rough translation in Arabic) sightings in this area for years. The Baathist Regime
threatened the locals with retribution and even death if they reported it and now the Coalition Forces are
doing it too. Cover up????I think So"

MARION COUNTY- May 13,2008- Time 1:30 Am./ Wooded terrain/ Witness who delivers pizza at night around
Ocala National Forest was coming home after work and as he turned onto road to home he saw a very fast
moving"Thing" that was very tall and hairy./ Hightailing it home Witness ran into his home and checked all
doors to make sure they were locked./ Witness has lived in Florida sense birth said," I never seen
anything like it and the first thought that came to mind was Bigfoot".
ST JOHNS COUNTY-Jacksonville,Fl./ Between Jacksonville and St. Augustine./Swamps close to Saint Johns
River/ Visibility- Cloudy and hot./ Date of sighting 05-13-08/ Activity camping./ No other Witnesses./ Distance
to creature about 80 yards./ Mr.S. K. Dover saw a creature he described as 8 foot tall with brown fur./ He
said he saw the face but only for a second, it looked ape like./ He smelt awful odor before he saw the
creature./ He left in a hurry pointing his pistol in its direction./ He didn't turn in a report to the police./
Couldn't tell if it was male or female.
SEMINOLE COUNTY- Ovieda,Fl./ April 10,2008/ The weather was clear, visibility good./ There were three
Witnesses./ Sighting was about 10 feet away./ Creature described as furry reddish brown in color./ It was a
male./ Witness said he saw the face but didn't describe it./ Sighting lasted about 30 seconds./ Fish and
Game were notified./ Witness said the creature broke into his chicken coop, broke into a bag of feed and
also got into his garbage./ the creature moved with long strides. Witness said he chased it.
SEMINOLE COUNTY- Apopka,Fl./ Wekiwa River,/This was sent in 2008 but happened Jan-Feb of 1972/
Visibility limited, late at night ,cold./ Witness was about 50-75 yards from creature./Describing the creature
witness said that all he saw really was a vague white form./ Witness said it happened in a secluded part of
Seminole County that borders Lake County./ Even today the area is very wild and largely impenetradable./
The area is bordered on two sides by State Parks and a Wild Life Management Area./ The area Swamp this
occurred in was roughly 10 miles long and 5 miles wide./ Very thick and dotted with 100 year old logging
roads.,the only road then and now to separate this swamp area from 10+ miles of even thicker swamp and
the rather large St. Johns River Basin is a road called ST. RD.46. Which back then was two lane./ Lots of wild
life including panther sightings./ The witness, I'll call Mr. H. that sent in the report to keep the people
straight in the story.
Mr. H. said his brother and his friends were known as the Wekima River Rats." or so they called
themselves. Mr.H. said he wanted to give a feel to the wilderness of the area with the trees hanging over
the water with the width of the River some times being 30 yards wide in, most places and a depth of ten feet
or more./ Fallen trees littered the water and "The Flats could spread out one hundred yards wide in some
places with only a few feet deep according to the time of the year./ Mr.H. couldn't remember the date but it
was either Fri. or Sat. night as this is when the friends would go and party./ He remembers it was winter
because they were all dressed warm in jackets and coats./ There were several squatter cabins back then
along the wate, gone now./ They were going to at one of these cabins that had been borrowed from a
friend./ there were two boats that night the first being drove by a buddy, who felt he could drive the boat
down the river at night with out lights, loaded with some of the group./ Mr. H. said he brought up the rear
with the rest of the gang./ He was known to the "Rats" as "Guardian Angel"/ because he always watched out
for everyone, he didn't smoke pot or drink./ Mr. H. waited until he felt it was safe then followed his friend./ It
was about 10:30 PM./ His buddy driving the other boat later filled him in on what happened before he
arrived. The friend pulled into the dock and the group with him got out and went to the rear deck where
Mr.H's brother was playing a guitar and those with him were having a sing along.The buddy said as he was
securing the boat he saw something white standing in the front of the cabin in the shadows next to the
rivers edge./ It looked like a 300 lb man./ No one in there group weighed over 150 lbs. He yelled and
everyone came running to the front to see what was going on./ They could see this thing swimming across
the river./ They yelled and threw beer cans and whatever they had at the thing./ About this time is when
Mr.H. came flying around the corner at full throttle with his boat load of people in the start of what is called
"Shell Island Flats" he said that this is what he saw./ He saw beer cans,bottles and other stuff hitting the
water behind something swimming across the river./ Grabbing his Q- Beam, slowing the boat to idle, he
first shone the light on the dock where every one was yelling and pointing in the water./ By this time it as
almost across the river./ By the time he tracked his light onto the thing it was hitting the Swamp, it was
about 6 feet from rivers edge to the swamp./ All he and his passengers saw was a white form as it entered
the swamp on two legs. He said until the party ended that night he occasionally shined his light over the
river into the swamp./ He could just make out a white form pacing back and forth. /From then on when they
partied there was someone always keeping watch./ They never saw it again.
REPORT ON BIGFOOT BODY=Reported Wed.July 23, 2008/ that a Georgia Police Officer and a friend had a
dead Bigfoot on ice./ It was Officially claimed a hoax on Tuesday-Aug. 19,2008.
DIXIE COUNTY-Cross City/ This was emailed to me with no date on encounter(s) Supposedly several people
saw our creature and the Sheriffs Department made casts of footprints./ I contacted a local paper but didn't
receive an answer back.
Media Report May 15.2008; Bishopville South Carolina/ A 2001 van had damage done to its grille which had been
bitten clean through while the van sat in the front yard over night./ A report said that a dog had done the damage
,Sheriff E. J. Melvin disagreed./ Mrs. Rawson said maybe it was a bear./ She thought what ever it was it was after their
cats which were still missing./ A dead coyote and a cow were found close to the van./ Much speculation on locals part
saying it was Bigfoot or their locally known Lizard Man.
HOLMES COUNTY-Esto,Fl/ Witness saw a creature on Route 2 close to pine tree forest./ It was large./ It crossed the
road on all fours"Looked like a giant footstool". Head sat on shoulders and had a flat chest./ Didn't see face./ Creature
glided, wasn't in a hurry and disappeared in a thicket./Two years before her and husband heard strange scream as
they sat on their front porch late one night./She joked that they had just heard a "Bigfoot" scream.
ALABAMA -PIKE COUNTY-Oct 15,2008/The witness was riding along with her daughter as she was driving a friend
home. It was dark and she was afraid of deer running out onto the road. After dropping the friend off they were on their
way home when witness saw a deer about 30 feet away from the road in a pasture next to a farm house. She told her
daughter "Look theres a deer,"When this "it" got up on two legs and ran off into the woods like a human, except very
fast. It had silver dark hair every where. She could see it well from the sodium lights at the farm house. It was skinny and
about 6 to 7 feet tall. When it was crunched down it was about the same size as the deer. It ran parallel to the road and
entered the woods at the edge of the pasture./ The daughter didn't see it./ The witness said she never believed in
"Bigfoot" before this but this was an incredibly belief altering experience.
SPALDING COUNTY-Georga-May,2008-Griffin nearest town/ Witness and his wife came home late. Witness said that
He went out to feed his dogs. While feeding his dogs He heard a long moan, howl coming from the woods. He thought at
first it was coming from his neighbors place but then realized that it was further back./ He decided to surf the Internet.
He came across an Ohio vocalization and it sounded the same./ He asked his wife if she had heard the sounds and she
told him while He was in Iraq back in 2005 and 2006 that something or someone kept throwing rocks at their free
standing garage./ She would go on the back porch to smoke and that's when she heard it./ She even had her brother
come over to check it out and both of them freaked./The witness said that 3 nights later, the weather was really cold, He
went out to smoke about 1Am when He saw something out of the corner of his eye./ When He turned to look what He
saw was a massive back, shoulders, and head of this enormous creature as it disappeared behind some bushes./ It was
fairly close to the yard light but just far enough away not to be able to tell actual color./ He guessed it was dark brown or
grayish./ Measuring a limb He was fairly sure was even with the creatures head, the limb measured 10 feet tall./ The
creature was hunched over with no visible neck, and shoulders were about 4 to 5 feet across./ It covered the distance
of 6 to 7 feet with one step./The witness didn't see its face, but its fur looked like a horses winter coat that hadn't been
combed.
OKALOOSA COUNTY-Baker,Fl./ On the Yellow River in north west panhandle./ Nov.11,2008./ Witness was kayaking on
The Yellow River when he heard a moan that turned into a yell./ Traveling on down the River he said he smelt a very wet
dog smell./ Then he heard sticks breaking then he said out of nowhere a big rock came flying out of the trees and hit the
water./ Thinking it was somebody he yelled out hello and what are you doing./ No answer back, no birds, no sound then
a rock as big as his head hit the water almost hitting the kayak./ He said he heard coyotes and then a dog or coyote
scream like it was in pain so loud that it scared him./ He said he heard what sounded like breaking trees and screams
what he thought were the sounds of fighting./ The trip was 25 miles long and he felt followed all the way.
APRIL 2008- CITRUS COUNTY -Near Homosassa, Florida /Driving with headlights on bright because the road is
winding and very dark located right in the middle of Withlachoochee State Forest. Near a small cemetery on the road
there was a large figure man shaped but to tall. Slowing down saw it was extremely hairy and looked to be 7.5 feet tall./
witnesses heart started raising so hard he had to stop car. Theres a small dirt road beside the cemetery that runs off
into the woods, traveled down that road before and knew it led to a pond back in the woods. Being dark and unarmed
witness said there was no way he was going after creature. Thought it might have been a bear at first but no way a
Florida black bear gets that large. Doesn't no of any other sightings in area.
SANTA ROSA COUNTY-2008-/Swampy terrain/ Witness said he heard several twigs snapping as he was fishing./ The
sound continued until he was ready to leave./ Heading back to his vehicle,he had traveled through the swamp land
that consisted of brush,trees and a steep hill./ About 1/4 mile into his walk the sounds that he thought might be made
by an armadillo became louder and then there were snapping of branches and heavy footfall. He started to run as by
then he was scared./ He returned the next day with another person and they found 1-2 inch branches broken at 6 foot
height./ The day before he had been in such a hurry to leave he forgot to wind in his fish line and he found it snagged
off along the trail.
POLK COUNTY-Near Zephyrhills, Fl.Nov.2008 / Nearest road Orange Lake. Witness arrived at an area hunting spot
to check for deer. This area had a persimmon tree. After arriving about 15 minutes he noticed an animal sitting/
squating then standing up to pick the fruit then sit back down. The witness thought at first he was watching a
bear.The tree was about 75 yards away. The witness watched for about 20 minutes then decided to leave as it was
getting dark. As he was getting up he saw the animal also stand up and walk away on two legs. He watched for about
40 yards until it disappeared into the heavy brush.The animal was about 5 or 6 feet tall.
2008-WAKULLA COUNTY-Apalachicola National Forest,Fl.-Feb./ two hikers left their car and walked in Forest for 5-6
miles. Hearing a small stream they used it to cool down. There were rocks about 4-5 pounds each in the bed of the
stream. Leaving they heard rocks moving then saw a hog running off. They went to take a look and saw a huge Skunk
Ape run off.
2008-Seminole County-June / East of Winter Springs,Fl. / Witness was taking garbage out to the road from his
garage. Several trips were made when he heard a whoop sound that was long and drawn out. Made the hair stand up
on end. Couldn't place the sound. About that time a owl let out a whoop as if something had startled it. The sounds
were different. Scared witness went back in to garage and waited about five minutes. Nothing else happened but the
frogs that are common at that time of year. Always take trash out at 5:30 Am and walk dog. Witness then went to the
Internet to see if there were any sounds that matched what he'd heard. 1974 Whoops and knocks in California
sounded close but weren't as long in duration.
2008-Lake COUNTY-April-Ocala National Forest,Fl.- Stick structures found near nature trail.
FLORIDA-Hawthorne-PUTNAM COUNTY/ October 10,2008/ Property surrounded by woods with houses on all sides
with woods between the homes. Large swamp areas../ Georgia Pacific Paper Mill and Tree Growing Farm half mile
east of property./ walking outside on front porch with phone in hand ,witness sat down on front steps. Looking east
side of property near chicken coop caught a glimpse of tall hairy figure standing in the woods and then it turned and
ran away../ Heard knocking in the woods. It was a clear night ,the moon was out./ Slightly cool.
GEORGIA-July2,2008-BERRIEN COUNTY-Nearest town Nashville Tenn./ Close to Valdosta Hwy, it was on a Wed.
night,the witness was in his game room above his garage about midnight. He heard what sounded like something hit
his garage door.He said he waited a second or two then got up to look out the window,looking down he could see the
driveway by light inside Garage he saw a large thing covered in hair right below his window.The hair had a dread lock
appearance,long and matted. It was heading back towards the woods./ Very surprised at what he saw,he said the
animal had large arms,hands and feet. He said that it was moving very quickly,sighting lasted on a second or two.
Telling another family member they went outside to look around but found no tracks or physical evidence. The area is
along Cat Creek Road which locals call Old Valdosta Road.

2008-Febuary15, CLAY COUNTY- Middleburg,Florida/ Report made to BFRO researcher David Wright, Two witnesses
on foot leaving Jennings State Forest by Nattie Nolan Road. Walking towards home they saw something about 40 yards
away. Witness said he believed it to be about 7 feet tall as he thought that he would come up to its head. Mr.Wright
went with witness to site and he took photos of twisted trees that littered the place. Then as they were walking back the
researcher performed one of their calls and received a call back.This happened three more times.Witness said he
never heard an animal sound like that.
NEW; Pasco County-/ Dec 18 th./ Time 2:AM=2008
Witness was returning home. She lived in a rural are. Entering her driveway her headlights shone into her front yard. At
firs she thought what she saw was a large dog with shaggy brown hair near her ornamental fish pond.The creature was
down on all fours until the headlights were flashed on it.The animal moved off at high rate of speed. After leaving her
car, going cautiously to front gate taken, about 3 steps,looking to her right she saw standing near the garage about 60
feet away a man sized creature standing on 2 legs. Alarmed and terrified she ran to her house. Later there was found a
large footprint in the sand.There had been a report in the same area in September of a man who had been attacked.
