NEAREST TOWN: Bainbridge/NEAREST ROAD: 10 Mile Still Road
OBSERVED: While vacationing in south Georgia I decided to visit a remote forested area to listen to night sounds and
make wildlife recordings. After sun set there were a lot of owls calling and several alligators growling from the nearby
river. At one point I heard three wood knocks come from the forest, and as I continued to listen I heard two distant
whoops.
The hour grew late and I decided to leave my audio recorder behind, running overnight, to record anything else that
might happen. When I retrieved the recorder in the morning I found several distant howls on it.
ALSO NOTICED: For the duration of my vacation I returned to the area daily and continued to leave my recorder
running overnight. There may be additional vocalizations captured within those recordings sessions.
OTHER WITNESSES: Two others, brother and his wife. But they had never been out listening for these types of sounds
before, and didn't seem to hear the distant knocks or whoops.
OTHER STORIES: Checked the BFRO database and there are no reports in this area, and very few reports in adjacent
areas of Florida, Georgia or Alabama.
Speaking with local elders over the years it's not uncommon to hear stories of "panther screams" in the night.
TIME AND CONDITIONS: Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Clear skies, temperature in the upper thirties.
ENVIRONMENT: Southern pine plantations with interspersed native hardwoods, heavy underbrush, swamps, ponds and
extensive areas of cultivation. Few homes in the area, and those mostly along well traveled roads.

NEAREST ROAD: hwy 165
OBSERVED: My brother-in-law and I decided to go hunting on the last weekend of hunting season. We went to our
camping spot that we have gone to for over 20 years and set up camp. This was on Friday night. The next day was
uneventful and we were both tired so we went to sleep about 8 PM. Sometime later in the evening, I awoke to very loud
screaming and some sort of yelling that I have never heard before in all my years of being in the wilderness. The
screaming lasted about 20 to 30 seconds, stopped for about 20 seconds, then started again. This happened 3 times. I
finally got my brother-in-law to wake up and he heard about 4 or 5 seconds of the third time happened for the rest of
the night. The next morning, we got up and I told my brother-in-law what else had happened during the night. We
looked for tracks around the tent, but the ground was covered with a thick layer of leaves and pine needles. We looked
on the road , but the road bed is red clay based and very hard. We packed our gear and headed for home. As we
drove home, my brother-in-law said it sounded like 2 voices screaming to him, which I had thought about and not
mentioned to him, so I know he was awake enough to realize just what he was hearing.

comments = My sighting was in the rural outlying area outside of Mosul Iraq during my almost two year deployment.
We were sent to do a patrol in the countryside to see if we could catch people placing IED's at night.I was in the lead
truck driving for my company commander we were driving down a dirt road with no lights on whatsoever we were in
total blackout drive I was wearing night vision goggles and we had our Ibis tech infra red spot lights on so i could see
everything in the dark like it was day time. We were traveling approximately 45 miles an hour when a creature ran from
left to right across the road the creature was on two legs had long very thin fur that you could see the skin underneath
it had long arms and it had a sloping forehead that went to a point at the back of the skull the fur was a light sandy
brown color and the thing that i remember the most was that this creature was short and skinny. As the creature went
across in front of the Humvee i could get !A height idea of the height it was only about a foot and a half taller than the
front hood and had a very smooth stride. After I had witnessed this I was shocked and didn't want to say anything
because I wasn't sure if I was just so tired i was seeing things since it was about 300am or 400am in the morning. As i
mulled everything over in my head the commander said did you see that and I was like oh you saw that too i thought I
was going crazy and he said that looked like a chupa cabra or something and I just said back that was no chupa cabra
that was crazy. And nobody ever mentioned it ever again after that I just assumed that since my commander had seen
it he probably wouldn't report it because If he started reporting hairy ape men they would probably relieve him of his
command.  What i saw was 100% legit I'm a big game hunter and have saw about every animal you can imagine but
this was something different. To me it looked like a cross between a orangutan and a person or at least thats the
closest example I can think of.
This isn't in Florida but again thought you the readers here would like to hear about it.
MONTH: April/ DATE: unknown/ STATE: Alabama/ COUNTY: Lauderdale County
LOCATION DETAILS: On Waterloo Road going towards Waterloo, after you pass Gravelly Springs, you will pass a
Church on the right side of the road. After that you will pass 2 houses I think and a small hill. This sighting took place
just past that hill but was on the left side of the road. There was no mobile home there at that time , just a cow pasture.

NEAREST ROAD: highway 14 (Waterloo Road)
OBSERVED: The creature had its back to the road and was squatted down picking at something in the grass or picking
through the grass for something. Acted as though it wasn't concerned with us passing by.
OTHER WITNESSES: A friend of mine was driving, but he will not admit to seeing anything that day.
OTHER STORIES: Hadn't heard of any incidents prior to this.
TIME AND CONDITIONS: Late evening just before dark. Clear skies no rain. Visibility was very clear.
ENVIRONMENT: On the side of the road in short grass, beside a barbed wire fence.
ACTION DETAILS: I40 to Hwy 53 / NEAREST TOWN: Jacksonville/ NEAREST ROAD: Hwy. 53
OBSERVED: Monday (Aug. 15, 2011) morning approximately 5:10am, I was traveling North towards Jacksonville, NC at
50 miles per hour. The road was straight for 3 miles, it has forest on one side and swamp land on the other side.
Approximately 5/10ths of a mile South of Harris Road on Highway 53 a bipedal creature bolted in front of my cab less
than 50 feet ahead of the cab's headlights. The creature was at a dead run and didn't look towards the cab. The
creature was a crimson rusty brown in color with matted hair, very muscular, 6 1/2 to 7 feet tall and approximately
400lbs. The arm facing the cab headlights hung knee length or longer, had human hands and black fingernails. The
creature took about 4 strides to cross the highway. It seemed to have no neck just a head; sort of like a caveman.
Another vehicle was behind me and traveling very fast, but slowed way down when the creature appeared on the road.
That car was approximately 1/10th of a mile behind my cab.
ALSO NOTICED: Around the same time frame I've had several occurances at my residence. There were 2 large Forest
fires in the area. The first incident was in my garden. I have 2 massive garden areas, a mulch pile and compost piles.
My mulch piles were ripped apart. The fish carcasses were gone and the melons had been bitten in half. All his
vegetables in the garden were stomped down. I found 2 sets of foot prints; one was very large and its stride was
approximately the size of a large man in full splits. The second set was smaller the size of a girls foot print. One week
ago my dog; a rat terrier, started growling and its hair was bristled and would not come out of the closet. This
happened once before. My dog has chased bears, but whatever was outside scared my dog. Last Wednesday (Aug.
10, 2011) my dog woke me up again growling and in the closet and at that point something bumped against the trailer
and shook it. Also the next morning (Aug. 11, 2011) I noticed my 5gal. barrel had been moved from the front of the
trailer to the backyard. It had water and shrimp hulls in it. It had been dumped out and the shrimp hulls were gone. Not
just turned over, but like some one picked it up and turned it over. This Wednesday (Aug. 71, 2011) at approximately
2:30am I had gotten home from work and stepped out on his porch to smoke a cigarette and heard something howling
for about 10 seconds; then stop and start up again. It went from low to high pitch howl. The sound came from the NW
direction the same direction I saw the creature on Monday. One more thing; I have several deer, an opossum and
raccoons that would visit my yard, but in the last 2 to 3 weeks all the animals have disappeared; especially the deer. No
one around his area have seen any deer lately. No road kills; nothing.
OTHER WITNESSES: Don't know who they were, but a vehicle was traveling behind my cab at that time and they
slowed down so they most likely saw this creature also.
OTHER STORIES: Yes, and there has been a report submitted. It was within a couple of days of this one in Burgaw, NC
in Pender Co. approximately 12 miles southwest from my residence and sighting.
TIME AND CONDITIONS: Early morning. Hot and humid. Just about dawn. Still somewhat dark.

LOCATION DETAILS: head n.on highway 441 from Orlando,then go east on st.rt.46, finally head back s on mt.
Plymouth rd.
NEAREST TOWN: Sorrento/ NEAREST ROAD: Mt.Plymouth rd/St.rt.46
OBSERVED: On the twenty sixth and again on the twenty seventh at approximately 5:00-5:15 am, I was on my way to
work. I travel down Mt. Plymouth rd.in Sorrento FL. This is an area directly in the Wekiva River basin. As I started
through the s turns I saw another car coming in the opposite direction, as that car passed a large animal stepped out
from behind that car, I think he was crossing until he seen my truck, it then pivited, turned and went back into the
wooded area. On the next morning on my way to work again I got a better look at it, still in the same series of turns,
except this time coming out of the last one, I seen it take one step in part of my lane then on across the road and was
gone. I was looking down towards the hood of my truck at this time and can tell you that whatever it was, was very
large, its waist area was about 1 foot above my hood of my ford ranger pick up.

OTHER STORIES: close by about 20 or so years ago.also a friend and I on black water creek smelled something so
foul one day while we were fishing and then suddenly the smell was gone after about 20 - 30 min
TIME AND CONDITIONS: between 5:00 and 5:15 am
ENVIRONMENT: some houses, some pine forest, this area lies near several bodies of water including Blackwater
Creek where my friends parents had an encounter in the late 80s.

YOUR ACTIVITY- just parked my truck on the Levey and was getting ready to go fishing
CREATURE- I'm not a small guy myself I'm 6'10 375lbs and it was  a little bigger than me somewhere a little over 7feet
tall weight 350 400ish lbs  its color brownish red, with a strong order of rotting vegetation in the air. When I first saw it, it
was just being caught in the light of my headlights of my truck it was crouched on the side of the road about 80 90 feet
in front of my truck in a ditch looking at me. I honked my horn at it and it just stood up and walk back in to the tall grassy
field\swamp. I decided to go home and not press my luck that night
AREA OF SIGHTING  wildlife preserve full of swamp and grass fields with some trees and palm
NO I Didn't report it; know body would believe me other that other Bigfoot believers
I have been back to the area during the day but nothing was found.

LOCATION DETAILS: Near a swamp at the bottom of a mountain. I have also found tracks on the power road near the
mountain and near the swamp. Floyd Industrial pkwy./ NEAREST TOWN: Rome / NEAREST ROAD: Hwy, 27
OBSERVED: On the recommendation of Mr, Pruitt and Mr. Morris i tried some tree knocking . I took my 15 year-old
daughter because she thinks all of this is nonsense what better than a bias opinion i thought. Well I got several
responses. Something in the woods tonight knocked back. Upon the first three in return my daughter about jumped out
of her shoes.
ALSO NOTICED: I have found Tracks in this area several times.
OTHER WITNESSES: Yes my 15 year old daughter who thought i was crazy but she came i think just to make fun of me.
She is no longer thinking its a joke.
OTHER STORIES: I have heard of reports in Cedartown which is very near here./ TIME AND CONDITIONS: 12:20 at night
ENVIRONMENT: Swamp with hard wood and pine forest in a valley.
